  1. Ensure the unit you purchase doesn't have plastic on any part of the chute.
  2. I have those electric gizmos in my garage and house as we live in the country and we haven't had an issue since....knock on wood. The sticky traps are a lot better than the traditional mouse traps. I have had success with them as well.
  3. I was not aware they are double the size of a Normal sign. I'll have to check it out.
  4. I to enjoy the physical labor of chopping and stacking wood. I also like the smell of a burning fire. I have the wood on our lot so buying wood is out of the equation. It frustrates me to all end that insurance companies charge more for having a wood burning fireplace or in some cases wont insure you at all. We are a young family trying to save money burning wood in a safe manner. Why must we be punished. My parents have natural gas fireplaces at their home. The reality is, we didn't and they still don't use them very much. It's not the same.
  5. I've been caught by this a few times....not gotten a ticket but if a police officer was there I would have. If they are going to change the speed limit, why don't they use temporary Orange or Red signs that are larger than the white standard signs to let people know it has changed, instead of them finding out via a ticket. When I drive in an area I been driving in for a while, I know the posted speed limit so I will check less to confirm. When I am driving through an unfamiliar area I look for speed signs often. Seems money grabbing to post a new speed limit with out anyone knowing and then handing out tickets.
  6. Palgrave is a really beautiful area, very expensive though...
  7. I had the same Tony Hawk board. I loved that board..sold it for a Sim Staab though....
  8. The fake wasp nests you can buy to replace with the real one you knocked down don't work. I live in the country and deal with these buggers all the time. I had a wasp nest inside my daughters play house. I sprayed at night, knocked it down and hung up the fake wasp nest right beside where the real nest was. Well guess what, they built another. Blew that theory right out the window. I have stocks in CIL Wasp and Hornet Spray. It works amazingly because it sends a foam spray a good distance in a straight line. I have had to hit nests at least 15 - 20 feet in the air (Top of the barn) and got them. The foam completely seals the nest, kills them and then you knock down the nest. DO IT AT NIGHT THOUGHT!! You have to knock down the nest though as another bunch of wasps will take it over and rebuild. I knocked one down and left it on top of a pile of wood...and the wasps re built the nest right where I left it.
  9. I live 5 min outside of Tottenham(north of Caledon)and drive to either Scarborough or Bay/Wellington 3 times a week. If I had to do it more I wouldn't live in Tottenham. When going downtown Bay/Wellington I take 27, 427 and Gardiner, it takes me about 1:15 mins. I have always commuted so I am used to it. Do I like it no...but I do it...I just leave real early. I do have the option however to stay home on a snowy day. If I had to work downtown every day, I would buy a house/condo in the City or something very close to the GO Train.
  10. I use the exact same setup on my Tin boat. Hockey stick and clamp.
  11. I signed....unbelievable how something like this can happen. I better get used to drinking cloudy water...if there is any.
  12. On this topic, my motor is spitting water however my over heating alarm is going off on my 1989 90HP Merc. It's in for an impeller...however I am not confident the impeller is the problem as it went into the shop spitting water? Is it possible the impeller has deteriorated and possibly not sucking up enough water? The Impeller hasn't been changed for at least 10 years. Thanx
  13. Don't get why people want to save Raccoons. They are a massive problem and have be come invasive. Same with the coyotes. I can't hang a bird feeder in my back yard or else and it's happened many many times, I wake up in the morning and I have seen them hanging from it or the feeder is on the ground busted up...these are the feeders that are raccoon proof. Over population of any animal is not good. Last year we had 9 rabid raccoons which the neighbor took care of. Farmers don't see raccoons as furry little critters. They see them as disease carrying pests. And that is what they are. Have a coyote bite into a rabid raccoon and now you have rabid coyotes roaming around, which isn't good for anyone. We brought two of the rabid raccoons to the Ministry and the Ministry agent said we where nuts for even going near it. There is no worse animal than a rabid raccoon. They will rip your ankles off. Lets see a P3TA person change their tune when facing a rabid animal...which is happening more frequently these days with all the over population.
  14. LED trailer lights go on sale at princess auto tomorrow...save 40% off $19.99.
  15. Thomas played very well but don't discount the Boston players. Goals have to get scored...I didn't see Thomas score a goal.
  16. You either have to be very new to the country or just down right ignorant to go fishing with out a Lic and also keeping slot fish. I don't know about you, but I would not be having a good time fishing if I new I was fishing illegally. Do people not worry? right and wrong is one thing...but my conscious would not allow me to fish without a lic.
  17. We have a trailer on Sand Lake (30 min north of Hunstville). The wife has been going there 30+ years...I joined the party 13 years ago. We love it....the beach is unbelievable however there isn't much more than that. No pool, small play ground and that's the park. We pay $1800 per year all in. Includes hydro..as much as you can use (for now), water and Bathroom's with showers. Where on our 2nd trailer, my wife bought our last just before we met and we just replaced it last year(needed more room). I toyed with the idea of buying used..however a trailer has everything a house does plus other finicky items so my recommendation unless your a fix all type person is to buy new or a few years old...that's just my opinion. The last thing you want to be doing on your weekend is fixing or repairing...it will make the new experience distasteful.
  18. I haven't seen one yet in my may trips there.
  19. Can you connect the yellow and red together to the same switch so when the switch is off no power is going to the radio? I understand I would lose the settings but I am not to worried about that.
  20. My in-laws have had one for a year and they love it. No issues to date...and I gotta say the it's pretty nice in and out.
  21. Thank you everyone for your input. I will start with some in the gas and go from there.
  22. Thanx Guys, how do you use the liquid? Are you adding it to the gas? My understanding is you spray it into the carb while running to clean and loosen guming?
  23. Hello All, I have heard quite a bit about people using Sea Foam in their our boards on this forum. I was at Part Source and they only seemed to have the Sea Foam deep creep product. When I was on-line at the Sea Foam website it seems they have more than one product and the deep creep is more of a penetrating oil. The gent at Part Source said he uses it for his out board to clean the carb etc. Does anyone know if deep creep has the same effect and can be used the same as the general Sea Foam spray? Should I just order the sea foam spray on-line...as it doesn't seem Part Source has anything other than the deep creep version? Thanx
  24. My brother in-law bought a boat there and he is picky and cheap so I would say they must be ok. I 3rd the comment they have been there for a LONG time.
  25. That makes two of us that don't understand it. Seems all I do these days is shake my head.
