I don`t think the problem was with the fishermen although that lousy fishermen Ben Beattie couldn`t catch a big pike to save his life that week!!! just kidding Ben!!! And although the Toronto comment does sound kind of funny I don`t think its that much of a stretch...maybe it was just a bad week for all six guys!!!

I owned a princecraft in the past and I was always tightening something and it was rough wet ride, I also owned a alumacraft navigator and it was a great boat and regret selling it to this day.

Not really a trophy pike fishery the week our group was there if memory serves there was maybe 2 or 3 pike over 35" caught largest being 38.5". The pike fising is better in the Toronto harbour.

It's getting pricey I used to be in goreskis which is a great park lots of activities and service but like I said it was getting expensive for the trailer and services I use now at layzee acres goreskis would be just under 5 grand and layzee is about half that and fills the bill fine for what I need from a park.

Not sure how big of a place or style but take a look at the new mini splits, they cool in the summer and they act as a air source heat pump in the winter.

I would look into a air source heat pump! The technology is getting better all the time!

Probably risking starting a hockey thread as they usually go down hill quickly but I just want to comment on the officiating in this game and in the NHL in general this year. In todays game Ottawa had a goal called back for goaltender interference it was a horrible call. Earlier in the game Georges and a Ottawa player were racing for the puck on a icing play and there was some very mild contact by both players and the official called Georges for boarding it was a horible call. Equally as frustrating is the constant throwing out of players during faceoffs. As a side note Mr. Bob Cole has had a very distinguished career but it may be time to hang up the microphone.

Although not a hunt/fishing camp I knew two couples that followed their dreams and bought camps/camp grounds unfortunately both ended in financial disaster and divorce.
