  3. Good one Rob, I would rather have Bozak and you guys can have Briere!
  4. Does not surprise me in the least philly is a good place for him I am guessing the habs and other teams were smart enough not offer a 5 year deal, and please somebody tell me how Holmgren still has a job as a GM after the mess he has made of goaltending situation, Briere, Carter, Richards etc.
  5. Ya Rob not sure if there would be a stall that he will fit into!!! Not sure if he will end up in Montreal, not sure if he wants the attention.
  6. I had a Navigator 165/90 yammy 4 stroke and if memory serves top end was 38/39 mph.
  7. I will go with Roy 8 or 10 lbs. trilene works for me!!!
  8. posting this for a buddy who has a older Merc probably late 70`s early 80 65 HP. He bought the motor recently and it runs fine on the muffs startrs easy but when the motor is put into gear it just stalls out, gas is good plugs seem fine.... nything in particular we should be looking at? TIA.
  9. Could have had my Stratos last year for a lot less than 16 grand, when I was pricing mine last year there was nothing that compared to mine in the states..and be wary of bass boats from the states some are run 12 months.
  10. Hi Cameron, lots of good fishing in the Orangeville area, lots of pike in the Res. Along with good Bass fishing plenty of 4 plus pound largies catch and release only on the largies. You will need a small boat to get to the better spots on the res, there are rental boats available. Lots of good trout fishing in the area as well sorry can't go into details on the area trout on the forum as the trout guys here are liable to blow a gasket. Google and a little research will give you a headstart.
  11. I think the Pickeral eater meant to say he set the hook into a stump and the tip broke!!!
  12. Nice trip report Mike I am getting close to another fly-in and that trip would fit the bill just fine.
  13. Apples and oranges my friend....and believe me I am not crazy about my guests having to fork over 8 bucks a night but the way I figure their park their rules. Before I signed up at lazee acres I looked at a nice park on Balsam Lake and this park wouldn't allow anybody to use the trailer other than the owners....different parks different rules!
  14. Yes that is correct the lease is for husband and wife and children under a certain age and not for your entire extended family and friends. If you rent a site at a PP park the same would apply yes??
  15. I am into my 4th year at Layzee Acres and I love it, nice people decent fishing with docking and your close to couch, simcoe and balsam, canal lake etc. There is another park on the lake Meadow something, I don't know anything about it. Fyi there are several trailers for sale in the park. If you want more info on anything in particular PM me.
  16. Double Ditto!!!! Had one of those once lasted a season and a half before it started to fail apart!!!! It`s in the parts trash bin now with a assortment of Abu`s Okuma`s and Mitchell`s etc.
  17. not a lot of dealers around according to the web site there is one dealer in the GTA, Pro J tackle in Toronto.
  18. Stick with Shimano, a Compre or Crucial are nice rods and you won`t have to ship it to another country to get service. Leason learned from another popular rod company(on this site for some reason) sure we`ll replace your rod pay for 40 bucks for shipping x 2 plus a 25 dollar service fee....blah blah in then end it was cheaper and easier to throw the piece of crap in the trash! I will never buy another rod that is not made by Shimano!!!
  19. Depending on your situation you may want to look into a air source heatpump (ductless) cools in the summer and bonus heat in the winter and shoulder seasons.
  20. Ya what he said......
  21. Can't see a 9.9 needing a transom saver just leave it in the down position and tie it off if it wants to move. Can't remember ever seeing a transom saver on a small motor.
  22. I now have a excuse to visit Buffalo
