    Drove to the cottage today near Buckhorn. Quite a few huts out on Scugog Gannon Narrows channel open as far as you can see. Water levels low on Pigeon and ice looks soft.

    Looking back to the old days, harder winters and excellent soft water fishing. Probably less fishing pressure and no electronics. Hard to make a sure connection.

    My Lund cover started to disintegrate from the UV after 5 yrs. Not a bad idea to cover the cover with a cheap tarp if in the bright sun a lot.

    Pushed the wrong thing using the mobile version on my phone. Lost it. and I can't figure out how to get back in to the mobile version. Anybody know what to do? Thanks

    When you are buying a boat, you are in the best position to negotiate for accessories. Things like a cover or spare trailer tire. When I bought my Lund there was blood on the floor When we were done both parties were happy. Still managed to forget the spare tire. Got upgraded to Yammy, travel cover, full stand up cover. Trade in Once you've signed off you've lost your leverage.

    I'd call a reputable hot tub vendor. I'm sure they deal with this problem often. Should direct you in the right direction. Is it plastic, acrylic, fibreglass. There is heat and lots of weight involved. Wanna do this right.

    In case u need to tow a little or kids come along. Rav4 or Honda CRV. Well rated. Less expensive to repair than Subaru. Lots of used ones around. 2wd or AWD HRV a little small and too new. Fit platform I believe. If size not that important look at the new Civic. Car of the Year. Looks sharp.
