haha, yep, made the same mistake fishing from a paddle boat at my grandmas cottage, twice! Once left a stringer of perch for a snapping turtle to eat like a chicken wing at the dock while i had lunch. Thought i had him beat next time, used a 5 gallon pail, went up for lunch.. oops this time the bear found it! Lmao

Anybody experience wildlife or other sources taking your fresh catch on the ice? I tell ya, ya gotta have eyes in the back of your head.

If you wait for someone from OPP or rescue services to tell you the ice is safe then enjoy never ice fishing! Use common sense out there folks!

Quebec is in Canada, so no matter where the Canadian power is going, at least it's staying in Canada. And our power is not discounted to any other countries, no matter how it was harvested.

Obviously if you actually have a problem with power production you have that choice of not using power.

I've never had near as good a day in dunnville through the ice as i usually do on the smaller lakes. It takes years of experience and effort to catch fish through the ice regularly in dunnville. I have neither. Lol

People skating on hamilton harbour !? Fished a small (less than one acre) pond close to home today for an hour after work.. 3-4" of ice to deal with. Makes for easy drilling ... Provided you're not too afraid to keep drilling
