  1. Good thing they can't paint yellow lines in the water..
  2. one trick... depending if you know which tire.. of if its both... drain the air,, break the bead.. turn the tire a little on the rim, and then reinflate. Also check your tire pressure, if its too high you could get vibration also.
  3. I would take caution with that.. you can always call for the VIN tell him you want to check how much insurance is going to cost you, and then get the police to run the vin for you to make sure its not stolen.. also.. one red flag.. Address: Liberty, Bowmanville, ON, L1C View map Location: St. Catharines Date Listed: 05-May-09 is it in St.Catherines.... Or Bowmanville??? Why do they have both locations listed?
  4. Hahaha love it! Myself.. I used to flyfish for Carp in the summer. I used large streamer flys "bright red", nothing like fighting a carp on a flyrod!!
  5. They were very tasty.. But I only made up a small amount, vaccum packed the rest and froze them. Next week going down to Nova Scotia to my grandparents on my dads side and to PEI to my grandparents on my moms side, and they love pickerel but the fish doesn't exist is the waters down there. I used this recipe that I came up with.. you try it, was very good!! 1) Rise Fish 2) Roll in a Mixture of Flour, Fresh Ground Pepper and Sea Salt 3) Milk Bath 3% prefered but can use 1% or 2% if not available 4) Roll in Pancake Mix (Aunt Jemima - Not the "Complete Mix" use the on you have to add "Egg and Milk" 5) Fry in medium skillet with about 1/4-1/2 cup of butter "Depending on size of pan" and a 2 tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil "butter won't burn as fast" It gives is a nice brown color but not burnt flavour, light and crispy, and doesn't over power the taste of the fish. After making up this recipe last night, its the only one I am going to use!! Going to try it on trout next! Its just so good!
  6. Thanks, yeah.. Not much left for freshwater that I havn't caught... I think all thats left is Gar,Sturgeon,Musky,Bowfin,White Fish, and a few others that are only really found out west, like Grayling. well it was overcast in the morning when we first got there... but only for the first.. 2 hours.. then it was sunny. had some wallys follow the lures right to the side of the boat!!
  7. Well today was my first ever walleye experience.. Went fishing with a buddy of mine out on Rice Lake, about 14FOW right along the weedline.. I brought home 3, my buddy brought home one, so I gave him one of mine.. Least I can do for him taking me out! We had alot of hits, and a couple right to the boat before they threw the hook. We launched from Gores Landing, and was on the water by about 8:30am. Finished off our trip around 1pm. The three I boated, plus one about 12" that I threw back.. All caught on different lures.. 3/8oz White Bucktail, #7 Deep Diver Fat Rap Perch Color, 3" Black/Silver Rapala, 3/8oz Green/Yelow Jig w/orange body The two I kept, in the photo is the two on the right side of the stringer. 1lb 7oz - 17" 2lb 2oz - 18 1/2"
  8. Depending where in Quinte your main goal area is.. and which direction your coming from... I would even recommend launching in Brighton, and trolling through the canal on the way to BOQ.. I see people there often hitting Walleye, and even alot of pike. Bottom bouncer and worm harness will get you pike and walleye from shore on the Canal on the Brighton side.. Theres a public launch where Ontario St & Harbor St connect in Brighton
  9. Nice report! As for the animal.., Looks more like a Fisher.. It moves to fast in the video to be a groundhog. Its from the weasle family and the only animal that is not affected by Porcupine Quills.. We have them around here.. Seen them a few times, and shortly after it got one of our cats.. Household cats, are one of its main prey in residential areas.. Even known to kill small dogs.
  10. Sandblasting.. Depending on how much your willing to spend, and how often you need to use it.. I would reccommend the Cabinet one, but if you don't have a compressor or don't want to spend that much, go with the Ez Blaster Kit.. Canadian Tire - Sand Blasters
  11. Depends on the type of silicone, but I would give it a full 24 hours to make sure it cures complete and adheres. Could always throw a hairdryer for about 15 min or even a spot light on it for a hour or sot to help speed it up.. But not to hot. Basically to hold the temp at about 80-90 degrees and that will knock the cure time in half.
  12. What Ive found for the creek I fish here... And seeing what you have.. Clear Slow Moving Water - Sunny Day - Gold/Silver Blades Clear Fast Moving Water - Sunny Day - Full Orange Blades Murky Slow Moving Water - Sunny Day - Full Orange Blades Murky Fast Moving Water - Sunny Day - Black Blades Orange Dots As the sun sets, after 6pm thats there no direct sun on the water and the ambient light is getting low.. Gold/Silver Blades no matter the water conditions 12" and under Trout were hitting #0-#1 Spinners 12" and over Trout were hitting #2-#3 Spinners
  13. Lol, well I wasn't a member when you created this, but good one bumpin it up.. lol My largest Pike.... about 20" Funny thing is I snaged someone elses bobber.. floating in the creek.. Started bringin it in.. and it fought back lol.. Turns out someone snaped their line on it.. Got it home.. cut it open and there was another pike about 8 inches inside.. lol This was.. ohh about 1996.. Largest Musky.. about 10 inches.. of course it went back. Ive never really fished for them.. mostly trout and bass.. But this year I am going to be targeting them. Found a nice clear lake with lots close by at 15 FOW you can see bottom! FishFinder recorded a average depth of 21 but hit 49 FOW.. Now just need a boat or someone that wants to go out for a day! ) .. I was out with a buddy but he wanted crappie and the weather wasn't the greatest so we didn't stay long. But in the few casts I did, I had 3 followers all about 24" Bout 1998 I was with relitives up on GBay, my cousin was using a lure about 12" long going after large pike/musky.. well I was fishing for bass or what ever else I could get.. running 7' Rod with 12lb test.. well turns out he attracted in a group of 5 fish.. Musky.. Pike.. I don't know.. all were 48" Plus.. Could see my jig below the doc, next thing I know one of the fish grab it.. Needless to say.. my setup was not ment for something that big! He Ran.... and ran hard.. bout 10 seconds he stripped over half my reel!! I snugged up my drag a little.. SNAP.. lost em.. Auctually I did end up cathing a larger pike there.. I know I have it on video someone from the old camcorder.. From what I remember it was about 24" Thats about all my experience with Pike/Musky Hoping that will change this year!!! I have a Med-Heavy Spin Rod with 30lb line, and a Med BaitCaster with the same line.. Looking to buy a Musky Rod and Reel this summer thou!

  15. I use one myself, but thats due to changing the spinner about 15 times a hour until I find one that works. I kinda like it cause it adds flash to the spinner, and aucautlly found I had more hits with it on.. Don't know if it just cause it makes the spinner look longer..
  16. If your refering to my comment.. at the time when I made that comment.. it was not released to the public yet on the outcome.. People need to follow the news and watch timestamps before they jump on a comment.. In a way.. death penalty is good... but I would prefer to see them in jail for life with no chance of parole.. a long slow painful death is what it is.. let it eat them away inside for what they did.. let people inside the jail take care of them.. but the jails need to cut back on the "amenities" that they give inside those places!
  17. Those are a good tire also.. The Goodyear Wrangler AT/S.. I take it those are the ones your refering to.. GM used them as factory tires on the big Dually Trucks. Brother also works for a landscape company and they run those on their plow trucks.. They are good all season.
  18. easiest way to find out.. phone the Ministry..
  19. Depending on where you live, check out Kijiji, this was a add I found in 3 seconds of searching the site for Toronto Area. Cannon Downrigger Flash Ball #6
  20. If your running around in town, no long distance driving, and not hauling anything heavy.. Your good for a few more months.. But would reccomend them soon. Even thou its not snowy weather... If you get a heavy rain, your just going to hydroplane.. Theres not enough tread left to evacuate the water well at highway speeds. If your lookin for a good wear tire, something that works well year round, snow, rain, mud, sand... check into BFG All Terrains. Well worth it! I had a buddy had 120,000 km on them, center was almost bald but lots of tread on the side.. Had no problem winter driving in his 4wd 91 4Runner.. If I could get a set to fit my Grand Am.. I would lol I do alot of backroad driving and get into mud and dirt often.
  21. Confirmation of Charges from Global TV. Global TV Quote From The Article "Court documents show that Michael Thomas C.S. Rafferty, 28, has been charged with one count of first-degree murder and one count of abduction. Eighteen-year-old Terri-Lynne McClintic is also charged with abduction and accessory to murder"
  22. Maybe related to the Muskrat??
  23. Its funny how many people jump all over something like this, yes they are searching for her in Guelph area.. and yes two people have been arested.. But there are no formal charges filed yet.. and they still have not found Tori.. Yet people automatically asume they are guilty.. and she has passed. Yes it is a terible thing, but I would rather wait till things are confirmed before anything else.. I do hope she is still alive.. and I will keep thinking that way until she is found. I just find there is too much negativity out there...
  24. Cobourg, right off the 401 there is a Storage place where I have a unit right now.. I asked them how much to park a boat on the land.. $44 a month.. Theres a gate which you would get a key to, as the office is only open from like 9am-Noon. And they have on site security cameras also. There is currently about 10 large RVs and a few boats also. 25. Well never really thought about whitefish. Never ate it or caught it before.. But their mouth is not as prominent as Carp/Sucker/Drum which I was more refering to. "Thinking back to those childhood memories with that overweight aunt with too much makeup and always has to pinch your cheeks and give you a kiss and all you ever see is those big lips coming for ya, and you try to run and hide.. but no matter how hard she always finds you! hahaha" Never happened to me.. but seen it maytimes with friends when i was younger..
