Hey Wayne and Dan aka (R...... R.......) Take it like a man Tks for the wonderful time, once again great laughs and time Beyond the fish we were in stitches most of the time,Dan and Wayne are funny Tks to Roy and J for the great feed,as usual its scrumptious This year has been good, with numbers down somewhat but overall great big ones the same as years previous High water has spread fish out and basically taken their 10 year cycle of home ranges away from them ,so many fish are roaming searching themselves somewhat because of areas previously being low water areas and this year opening many new areas in which the fish can use I see Wayne you have not had your hair cut yet I think you would look good like this

the fish was caught last year at 58x25, it was around 49 pounds if anything the tail squeeze did not occur to get the extra inch, the extra inch is kept in the bank Like Darsky said, the due well deserved it,he's handed off more large ones than most can dream of Lets just say when you see dozens upon dozens every year, you have some form of accuracy over time That girl is a legitimate contender if she bulls up more given the size for a summer fish girth in the water Terry Nice 50 inch dollar bill,I"'ll see that Mark gets a copy Tks Terry

My biggest musky to dat!!! WHAT A MONSTER!!!!!
Marc Thorpe replied to northamfishing's topic in General Discussion
Nice monster Dude Congrats on the beast One thing you might consider in future is taking a measurement of the length, this way you will know better the length instead of guess-estimate and possibly having a replica made that does not reflect upon the fish you caught Dont piddled around with the girth in the summer months because few fish have any girth worthy of measurement But by all means thats a Gorilla,my best estimate is what Darsky said, then again I was not there so its a speculation congrats man on the monster -
My sincerest congratulations for the phenomenal display and effort in kindness and generosity to all who took part in donating by any means The finest display of gratefulnesses towards a man whom provided us all A moment of pride for the fishing industry Congrats MCI :worthy:

Glenn,I see you got no defense by your replies I'll let you win No I dont fish for recognition,I fish because I pay my Child support this way I fish because it makes me happy and find peace and tranquility If anything,I think I practice the true meaning of conservation and sport fishing I pride myself on the education I propagate more so than the fish we boat Catching a great big fish does not change anyones life, but educating someone does Only time I use my influence is to correct wrong doings or help someone in need as far as not all guest getting fish, well thats fishing They will get over the emotional scaring I wonder why the populations went south from the 40's to the 80's to today,You might want to look at angling behavior and laxing of rules and rod regulations as far as harvest ,its a right,a heritage and should never be removed because we will simply loose our rights to fish, something I would defend Sorry, the stratification of fish species and size diversity is a mess across North America, simply because of poor regulations and poor management We are all have problems with folks not abiding with rules across North America Be well
-
Nope I think that using 2 rods per angler means your more interested in the rewards than the effort Instant gratification, same problem society suffers from The road or journey to your destination is always pleasant and filled with anticipation till you arrive at your destination I guess Glenn we just see the definition of sport much differently Might as well make the Canadians Stanley Cup Champions every year, since they won the most You see Glen, there's a reason for the line The experience of a lifetime within the excitement of the moment I don't eat fish, its also a right to harvest, should always remain I do think multiple rod usage is un-sportsmanlike If its legal, its legal I don't approve of it Be well marc

Glenn, there's a big difference ice fishing and soft water fishing I never use more than 8 tip up no matter how many folks are with me ice fishing soft water ,you go to the fish, ice fishing you wait for fish, ice fishing ain't all that great Like I said,Either you fish for the moment of peace and tranquility or the accomplishment and recognition Creel and length limits really do not work, mother nature regulates herself far better than man fish populations that once existed in the 80's may never be seen again Reason trolling is banned in Wisconsin class A lakes is because anglers abused of the resource, very similar to running 2 rods Its not the rods or trolling, its people laws and limits adhered too, well Glenn, sadly poaching with multiple rods and over harvest/waste full harvest seems to be the norm these days,as witnessed personally its a human problem Like you said its an opinion, based on observation Mr Mike,I think you might be onto something Self regulated community resource management is on the rise Why you ask, simply because conservation organization no longer exist in the true meaning of conservation, they have turned into fishing clubs with rewarding captures mores so than doing good towards the resource Fisheries management officials are more inclined in treading water than accomplishing tasks to save their jobs, fully understandable but it does not make right That why community managed resources will be the wave of the future be well

Good on you Matt To a much deserved person whom educated most of us in one way or another

Ive seen to many instances where 80 and 100 lbs power pro go snap I wont even allow anyone to use it in my boat After watching my baits go bye bye just from casting, god forbid a fish ever broke off It does not do well under sudden impact Ive used Gorilla braid, whiplash and all now called Spider wire stealth, minimum 65 and 80 for 15 years or so,no problems I dont even retie for a week or 2 at times just my observations
-
Hey Glen,I see nothing sporting in using 2 rods for 1 angler You might as well take the Sport out of Sportfishing if using 2 rods per angler The real question one must ask is Is the intent to go fishing or pilfering Are you there to enjoy the moment or focus on the accomplishment There are no values in conservation or preservation in using 2 rods, most definitely nothing of good intentions towards the resource The real meaning of sportfishing is 1 angler and 1 rod within the element of mother nature and the attempt to trick one of mother nature aquatic species

Hi,I ran Opti's few a couple of years. I did try various TCW 3 oils,I came to the conclusion that a higher priced oil does offer better consumption rates of oil.The oil burns much better.I also noticed less carbonization on my plus when using higher end oil

I owned a cleaning business for many years with portable units and truck mounts,we mostly did floors and carpets. As Ryan mentioned, urine needs Enzymes to counteract organic matter and the degradation of your fabric Many products are Deodorizers not Oder Neutralizers Oder neutralizing takes several process ending with neutralization of the product used Never leave any amount of product residual whether stain removal or carpet cleaning Its simple laundry matter, you wash with tide you rinse with Dawney Well soap is either alkaline or enzyme based, you need acidic rinsing to neutralize all product just like Dawney smells nice put its true purpose is to balance the ph and soap residue in your cloths The best way as one poster mentioned is 1) lift the carpet and see damages beneath 2) treat all surfaces that have been affected both carpet/pad (Soak carpet and pad)and hard flooring beneath and let stand for 5 min with an Enzyme based Odor Neutralizer (Not an odor deodorizer's) 3) extract or vacuum all product out of carpet from both sides 4) Repeat process 2-3 5) Rinse all materials (carpet/pad/floors) with 25% white vinegar mixture with water 6) vacuum out or extract all vinegar and water solution 7) Keep crapeting and padding lifted and place a fan to dry all affected and treated areas as quickly as possible There are no products that exist that make stains vanish or go poof! Never apply any product to a Porous material without rinsing and neutralizing its with a vinegar and water solution Be careful when using products for stain removal on any fabric as they may bleach your carpet or upholstery Never use any bleach or discoloring agent on your fabrics (thats an art form on its own)(there are specific products and specialist that can do this) hope this helps lots of good info shared
