  1. I'll take the "Trunk Monkey" option any day of the week.
  2. If he's such a hot commodity with all the other GM's why didn't any of them make an offer for him? If he's such a great team player, why did I know a week in advance that he would be picked last at the All-Star game? His shine will wear off for Leaf fans after they watch him for another year and he'll be the whipping boy along with Dion for getting paid so much and doing so little.
  3. I look at the stats Chance. Toronto is in 26th and my Bruins are in 7th. It's a team game and Ke$$el isn't a team player therefore he's not wanted on the Bruins. He shouldn't even have been at the all-star game, if they had to have a Leaf then Grabovski should have been selected.
  4. Well Chance, I'm a Bruins fan and have watched Ke$$el for 3 years in Boston. No tears from me when they traded him to your team for 2 firsts and a second rounder. He will probably excel in the All-Star game since, unlike the games that count, there will be no contact, no defence and no pressure. Did you know that the Leafs are 2 points behind where they were at this point last year? Progress? I think not.
  5. Sorry Chance, you would have lost that bet. But if you're a Leaf fan you would be used to losing by now .
  6. It's been going on a long, long, time.
  7. I'm more into the fishing hockey sweaters myself. The first one is the Lindsay Muskies and the second is the Toledo Walleye.
  8. Here's one a buddy from work caught last year.
  9. Anyone want to bet that Ke$$el will be the last all-star picked at the draft on the 28th?
  10. I heard that he'll not be hosting the Golden Globes next year either.
  11. The heat-treating wasn't done by Ford but by Bluewater Thermal processing. We also did the 2.5L six cylinders for Ford and the plant does large numbers of GM aluminum engine blocks with the same lack of attention to detail.
  12. I used to heat-treat the 3.0L six cylinder aluminum engine blocks that go in the Escape, as well as many other Ford, Mercury, Jaguar and Mazda vehicles built in the last decade. I wouldn't use one for an anchor. There was zero quality control and evey worker doing this job knew he was about to get laid-off as this was the last job you were asigned before being shown the door. I was let go in November of 2008.
  13. This sad event happened on Sunday on Puslinch. http://www.therecord.com/news/local/article/474650--snowmobile-collision-kills-kitchener-man-on-puslinch-lake
  14. My Native Watercraft Tegris was clocked at 7km/h top speed on gps but I can keep up a respectable 3.5 - 4km/h for up to an hour before I need a nap.
  15. For safety sake I'd be taking the little one to Shade's as he won't have to dodge nutcases on their sleds. Seriously, you stand a much better chance of being injured by sleds on Puslinch than any issues with ice thickness. You also won't have to breathe carbon monoxide all day.
  16. I think at this point last year they were 27th place and now they are 26th. Burke must be proud of his accomplishments. Hey jedimaster, the sens fans are still crying from the lambasting that my bruins put on them last night (6-0).
  17. Kassian comes back today and that will help a bunch. Game time 3pm.
  18. Team Canada settles for Silver after losing 4-3 this morning in the Spengler Cup final. It was their second game in 13hrs and their fifth in 5 days. A great showing considering the other 5 teams in the tourney were club teams that have played together all season and Team Canada were brought together on Monday. The Moose will make a great NHL coach someday soon.
  19. SKA St. Petersburg is Yashin's team, so how can we lose?
  20. It's called evolution Billy Bob and nobody's gonna stop it from happening.
  21. Team Canada wins 4-0 over HC Davos and will play SKA St. Petersburg at 6am tomorrow for the Gold. Go Canada Go.
  22. Don't tell me, Chuck is a P3TA member?
  23. Thanks Irishfield. I looked on your link and found this page for cool water species. Pickerel doesn't appear on the list but walleye and sauger do. http://www.mnr.gov.on.ca/en/Business/LetsFish/2ColumnSubPage/248438.html
  24. Put 7 of them on a stringer and go into your local MNR office. The word pickerel won't appear anywhere on the ticket they will give you. You will be charged for keeping over your limit of walleye. It's not an American/Canadian thing it's a "my gramps incorrectly called them pickerel so I incorrectly call them pickerel too" kinda thing.
