Ke$$el has one more goal than Kostisyn of the Habs but Toronto has 12 fewer points than Montreal. Teams win games, Ke$$els don't. And don't worry, the only reason they don't boo Komi in Toronto is that with the Leafs defence he doesn't look that bad in comparison. Last time I looked Montreal, Boston & Calgary were all ahead of the Leafs in the standings with only two teams in the league with fewer wins than Toronto. The Leafs will finish higher than last year...probably 28th because the Oilers and the Islanders are so terrible. The upside for them is they will get high draft picks next year and Burke will sign more undrafted college players you've never heard of.

Hey Johnny, Verbeek doesn't play for the Leafs, he's retired. Can you leaf fans now see why there were no tears cried by Boston, Montreal and Calgary fans when Ke$$el, Komi, and Phanuef left town? Best part is Burke can't trade anyone he has aquired because that would be like admitting he made a mistake. Kaberle will just play out this season and not wave his no-trade so the Leafs will get nothing for him. He'll return to all-star form wherever he goes next year.

I've seen them at Princess Auto.

I sold my Sportspal to frozen-fire on this board and went kayak only for the last few years. Even powered by an electric trolling motor I would have had to get the card. Now if I want to fish in a bigger boat I just rent and don't need the card. This is such an obvious money grab. When I was on Scugog last year the OPP came checking two boats near me but didn't bother me in the kayak. I could hear one guy asking the officer why he doesn't check me out as well but I couldn't hear his answer. I hope you all know this isn't the end of the money grab as I'm sure new regs will soon come in to tax you on the size of your motors for "environmental impact". Just don't be surprised when it happens.

One of my all time favourite Bruins coaches. RIP Pat.

Burke won't get rid of Wilson. Remember he is trying to win the cup...for his hometown team. Wilson will go when Burke goes and as long as the money rolls in, that won't happen. The Leafs are lucky that a few other teams have really tanked this year or else they would be at the bottom already.
-
That steal has 6 points to Ke$$el's 9 and he hasn't turned 19 yet. How many games does Ke$$el have to go without a point before Leaf fans realize they got fleeced on that deal. Burke is trying to win a cup...for his hometown team.
-
A report out of Boston says that a deal is in the works for Ryder. Maybe some more Leaf draft picks for another multiple 30 goal scorer. I can only hope .

Peddie isn't going anywhere and neither is Ke$$el. When you find an employer that pays big bucks for very sub-par performance, you don't quit that job.
-
I bet they outplayed their opponents again . Ke$$el is going for a new record, he's gone 5 games without a point, his best is 6 games.

What's the largest bass you ever caught?

Soooooo...anyone catch the score tonight?

Leafs were a better team after losing their captain tonight. If they played the whole game like the last 15 minutes of the third period, they might have won that one. -
The good news is with the Leafs being shutout twice and the Sens once that one of these teams will have to score tonight. It might be a 0 - 0 tie that is decided by a shootout, in which they go through the entire rosters twice, but someone will have to win this game .
-
Did the Leafs outplay the Rangers tonight too?
-
How many did Ke$$el get tonight? Seguin scored against the Sens and Timmy posted another shutout, his 3rd of the season. He's 6 - 0 with a .50 GA average. Bruins 4 Sens 0.
-
Great game tonight eh? Boston wins, Timmy gets the shutout, Bergeron gets the winner (his 100th), Seguin scores, Ke$$el doesn't and Boston's leading scorer throws Toronto's tough guy captain to the ice like a ragdoll. As good a game as I've seen this year.

Like ChrisK I started out with a Canadian tire special 6 years ago for $279. I have since demo paddled and rented at least 10 different kinds before making my decision on a replacement. I went with a Native Watercraft Ultimate Tegris 12 that weighs only 30lbs. It's not cheap but in the kayak world you can have light or you can have cheap, you can't have both. Here is my best fish of the 2010 season (so far). It was 25.5" long and was caught in the Grand river in Kitchener. Here is my largest yak caught fish ever. It was 43" long and was caught in Pigeon lake in August of 2008. (I was fishing out of one of the aforementioned rental yaks, a Necky Manitou Sport). I use a fishfinder and attach my rod holder to my shoe so I can keep it up front out of the way for paddling but then bend my knee to bring it back within reach when a fish hits. There is an Ontario kayak fishing forum with many members that will help you with rigging ideas, launch spots and any questions that a newbie yakfisher might have. No judgemental attitudes, just good people on the cutting edge of the fastest growing segment in fishing. It's called Yakfisher.net and they regularly hook up to fish for fun and even ran a very successful 3 part tournament series this year. The best part is only members can view the reports section so lurkers can't get info on where the fish are biting. There is a link under my one-eyed green friend below.

I was at Bronte pier this past Tuesday and seen one rainbow caught on a roebag under a float and the boys said two browns were caught earlier in the day on roe as well. I washed all my spoons and my brother caught 4 gobies. Posting reports on here has lost it's luster for me too.

I think the "roll" is just picking up speed, as they go downhill .
-
OUCH!!! outshot 40 - 15.
-
Actually, because Boston had Toronto's first pick they traded their own first pick to Florida with Wideman for Horton & Campbell. Wideman=Campbell so... Kessel<Horton, Seguin, Knight & lottery pick next summer.
-
Habs also didn't have to give their 1st and 2nd round picks to the Bruins last year.
-
Avery & Linseman. Good comparison, they both have stanley cup rings. Linseman even scored the stanley cup winning goal. You can keep Tucker and all his class, I'll take either the old rat or the new rat and their cups over him any day. Not a Sens fan, a Bruins fan. You know, the team that the Leafs gave two 1st rounders and a 2nd rounder for Ke$$el. Oh, and thanks again for Rask. How is Raycroft working out for you?
-
How any fans of Darcy Tucker can call Avery a bum is beyond me. Avery has a cup ring, what does Tucker have? Oh ya, I forgot, he's still getting paycheques from the Leafs and he's retired. The Leafs are paying him $1million this year and $1 million a year for another 3yrs after that. That's a pension plan that even the teachers can't touch. If Avery was a Leaf the story would be different.

My favourite part was when Colton Orr got knocked out by a guy I've never heard of . Got him right on the button .
