  7. Got up to Kenlea for the annual end of summer fishing/swill (hic) the water temps are still a little warm for the walters (around 60 f) but there was a few around the first day all we found were some smallies, and of course Uncle Bucks wee gobie. That was Friday, the wet weather and clouds on Saturday seem to bring out the walleye ....and the fry pan shots.... one largemouth and these guys dropped in to see if the fish were in the river alot of this and not enough this a very good time looking forward to next year!

  9. Many disagree with you coldh20guy, I for one think if a Canadian product is as good or close to as good as one that is made off shore I will buy the Canadian one for sure. In fact I would even pay a little more for the "Home made" product, I have to admit it is hard to buy Canadian all the time but I do try. I am thankful for the information in this thread good going everyone.

  18. Fished out of Kenlea Camp last weekend, got up there Thursday afternoon, the weather had turned cool but the pike didn't mind not a bad night a few small walleye turned up as well. The largest pike was caught on my light action walleye jigging rod, beauty fight. The next day we threw baits for pike many follows and a few hammer handles in the boat but that was it. The evening walleye bite started slow but we found a few, some in the slot had to go back, as well as some dinks, with a few perch to keep things going. as for Saturday snow and wind = cards and Wisers....
