I tried the berkley vanish flouro when it first came out it sucked brittle and prone to breaking, I have had a spool of seagar 12lb for a couple of years I am happy with it and a small spool of frogshair flouro ,20lb that I use for I tie on my braid fo bassin and it is great same leader on one rod for pretty much whole season very tuff stuff.

Headin to disney world with the family, stayin at a condo near park that has a lake on the property plan to do a little fishin inbetween park hoppin. must pack lite as we are flyin down there also going to cocoa beach (atlantic ocean) for a couple of days wil try some salt water action as well. i have packed some plastics a spinner bait and some rapalas anyone have any tips/slash baits that I should include????

The Walleye/Pickeral of 07 started on the Ottawa near Pettawawa. mmmmm tasty.... and continued on Erie mostly outta Crystal beach with a PB, 11.5 lb girl in AUG had a few in July with the family at Baptiste Lake also hit Lac Kippawa in the summer with my dad back to Baptiste in late Sept and tried out some Nov BOQ fishing nabbed a 8lb fish not great for the area but a respectable fish for me didnt get out on the ice for wallies. so come on spring......
  9. My Suzuki RG500 (Gamma) was oil injected and it ran great!!! fast as snot......sorry Kevin don't know about the outboards........

  11. I was up there last July and the walleye fishing was good our host said it was slow in the summer but I thought we did good jiggin in the morning and trolling in the evening. I used a large rapala original floater (9 inch version) in a gold pattern and the walleye loved it (canibals !!!) here is what you can expect

  15. solo outing today, first fish of 07, 4 little fish, 2 dinky perch, 1 dinky crappie and one okay sized crrrrrappie punched alot of holes moved alot . Hard to locate numbers. 4 to 5 inches of good ice (easy to drill thru) this is the "okay" (ya he is little but he is my first of 07)........ and another shot of it will try again next weekend somewhere else ......
