Makes for a challenging tourney tho... Lol
-
Can also visually search for bedding fish..

He didn't say it was opener... Could be the following weekend.... I believe bass opens 3rd sat... There is a fourth... That a week of prefishing...
-
Advice.... If you don't fish here regularity... You'll need a ton of hours prefishing to come close to the locals...
-
Not 100% true... For the most part I believe that's accurate... But some stuff is regular walmart inventory that is replenished... Like some rods and Plano boxes for example.... On the OP... I support customer service and reasonable prices... For me that's cabelas .COM and gander mountain... They've been amazing to me over the years... The only local tackle store that gets my business is the Canadian carp club shop.... Great selection and friendly service... And a bit of walmart and CT if I only need 1-2 things ASAP....

Little tip for anyone with an iPhone... I take screen shots of the regs on the MNR web site by lining up what you want to save... Then press both the power/screen buttons... Viola... Regs saved to your phone... Then you have em on the water and you don't bed cell signal... Or you can even make prints to have paper copies...

Good morning everyone... Just wanted to throw this out there... PLEASE... Be very selective IF you are going to harvest fish on any of the openers this year... Or the following 2-3 weeks for that matter... I know we are at least a month behind in regards to temps here... It has been a long... Cold... Flooded spring and spawns are VERY late... We have all year to get fat eating fish and "stocking the freezer"... Give them a bit of respect this year to "do the deed" and try catch and release as much as possible (I know I'm dying for fresh walleye) until spawns are done... I know for most this is common sense... For others if this helps you release a few fish you otherwise wouldn't have then great... And if your gunna fry some fish up.. Try keeping smaller males... There's usually many males for each female... This is just a personal opinion here... To each their own as long as it's legal...
-
Just get some locals and some gas next year and light em up.... Lol
-
This reminds me of the sinking tracker.... You end up slapping some tabs to cover up a serious issue... then you'll end up in bad conditions and sink you overweighted boat... Think safety when you weigh your options...

Some canals/creeks still have ice here... The ones that don't are booming with life... Mink... Frogs... Turtles... Minnows... Birds... Felt a little like summer... Much needed feeling -

Lol Yeah Shore spots that hold fish are few and far between around here... And most are very noticeable to other locals... -
Very cool Thanks for posting

Sounds like smoker craft doesn't know how to rig their boats properly...
-
Finally was able to get some soft water fishing in today... Original plan was to take the little man but he had a change of heart so I dropped off the kids at grandmas and took to wife... Literally first cast We proceeded to get into crappies with a few OOS perch and bass mixed in... Fun couple hours in the sun with no kids around... Hot baits were the black/green Houdini fry and pink fin s shad

Nice I just got a report of some crappy that moved in in the past 2 days... Gunna take my little fella out and see what we can get... I just hope he gets something...
-
Our Rez is usually $0.30 or more cheaper.... Even with bridge tolls calculated in when I fill my f150 and a spare tank for the wife's car I save $30-$40... And it's a 30 minute round trip including customs... If it wasn't for the Rez id probably sell my truck...

F150 help needed... Clunk in reverse
mike rousseau replied to mike rousseau's topic in General Discussion
So I got to thinking... If we are thinking ebrake... And it clunks in reverse... The why not apply the e brake in reverse???? BANG!!!!! Rear end locked up and even after releasing the ebrake it wouldn't reverse... I hade to go in foreword first then reverse... Looks like she's getting me shoes for Easter... Lol Thanks everyone -
Depends on spots... I have spots that hold crappie from November till the end of June some years.... I have others where the crappies don't move in until the water really warms up...
