Anglers fined fishing out of season !!!
mike rousseau replied to fishindevil's topic in General Discussion
Les then $100 for no license... That's a joke... No wonder some people take a chance... Hhhhmmmm... $30 license every year... Or take my chances cause there aren't enough COs out there to catch you... I fish A LOT and some years I don't get checked... And COs are so predictable I could ensure we don't cross paths... Grrrrr!!!! -
Not sure about pigeon but I know on the st lawrence the fish are where they normally are on opener.... Just 3 weeks late
-
Cause it took a while to figure out if He was snagged or had a big fish... Lol 2 foot rod and mono... Couldn't feel anything
-
Just thought I'd give you all the short and sweet on this one... Took my 3 year old fishing for walleye with his new Micky mouse rod (the ones about 2 feet long). 7-8 pounder got it to the boat and the hook popped... Lol... Turn around for another pass and bang... A 4.5-5 pounder on the 2 foot rod... Lol Couldn't believe it...

X2 I use 10lb seagar for drop shorting smallies and jigging walleye... And there's a ton of zebra muscles here... Never break off... Be sure it's "leader material"
-
I agree with Lew... 4-6 inches under ground is a lot cooler... Especially in a shaded area Or Reconsider what needs to go in the fridge... Keep your beverages in the cold lake water maybe...? Or (if your not at you weight limit) bring a cooler with ICE BLOCKS just for your worms... Ice blocks last a lot longer... I use those nice long skinny square apple juice containers... 2L

The mighty st lawrence river... The better I get at fishing her the less I travel because it's hard to beat the Larry for carp... Walleye... And musky fishing...

Need recommendations for SUV all season tires NF
mike rousseau replied to Tomcat's topic in General Discussion
12 ply bf all terrains gave me almost 90,000knm I now have 12 ply general grabber at2 ($400 cheaper for set) and they seem ok... They are a lot louder/vibrate more then the BF ATs... But I expect that from aggressive tires so I'm not complaining.... -
Like I said... I wasn't trying to describe you... But some people are that way so I can't blame the rod makers for not paying the shipping... Also I just like st croix rods... Just a regular consumer (talk about assumptions... Lol)... And my dad and brother have used their warranty because they flipped walleye in the boat that were too big without enough line out... Being idiots... Lol I also took advantage of the "buy a new tip" deal for $30.. I dropped my rod being an idiot.... But when I got my package there was a complete brand new $200 rod in there... So for the 3 of us we have had about $1000 dollars of rods replaced for the cost to ship 3 rods... And a $30 replacement fee for a tip... And I will admit we were completely at fault and st croix wasn't responsible.... But they still replaced the rods...

Two anglers found dead on lake near Montreal

For anyone that is in a position to help and would like to... https://www.youcaring.com/memorial-fundraiser/craig-walker-donations-for-family/176740 -
Considering almost every rod I've ever seen break in my life was user error... I think it's fair you pay the shipping to have your $150-400+ dollar rod replaced at no cost.... I bought my legend extreme (worth over $400) knowing if it break I get a brand new one for about $50 in shipping for the rest of my life.... That sounds like a good deal for me... But then again not everyone can admit they break rods because of user error so they feel it's the companies fault and bash em for the MED LIGHT spinning rod spooled with 50lb braid breaking when they were snagged on a log and trying to rip it out.... Lol... Not saying your one of those guys tho... I'm just surprised theses companies replace rods no matter why they broke... Eventually all rod makers will be producing ugly sticks to avoid replacing under warranty... Lol

So sometimes I'm getting signal... Sometimes no signal.... It's been on for 20 minutes today and still nothing... So again I'm back to looking for a place to repair it... I'd prefer not to ship it to north bay for a month cause I need it to fish... Is there anywhere in Ottawa/Montreal areas I can get it fixed...???

So maybe it's just a ground issue then... Ok I'll redo the trailer then -
Ok So one of my wires broke at the plug... So I go to Canadian tire to get a new one... No biggy... But mine was 5 wire 4 prong... All I could find was 4 wire 4 prong... My trailer DOES NOT have breaks... The trailer has White Yellow Green 2x brown I'm getting all my signals from the truck... But every combination I've tried hasn't given me proper functions... Left-right-running-brake... I have figured out how to get either running lights (every bulb lights up) with nothing else... Or signal (all 3bulbs on each side) with nothing else PLEASE HELP

Invasive Carp....................Finally Some Good News.
mike rousseau replied to DRIFTER_016's topic in General Discussion
That's great Hopefully they find a virus in the fish or something... Because it sounds like only the carp were effected...
