Had another good day on the ice as far as numbers of walleye go... Got 32 walleye in about 5 hours of fishing... Only problem is the biggest couple of fish were only 16 inches... It was a really fun day because they bit all day... Not just at dark... I'm wondering... Do any of you experience this? I mean 32 fish on a body of water that has big walleye... And nothing over 16 inches... Are the big ones close by...? Or do they come in to these areas later during last ice...? Mike Oops... Forgot pics

well they play 12-15 games a month... gotta fit em in somehow... i bet the players prefer back to back games... itll help free up some time... i feel bad for pro athletes now... i know one of the senators players and he gets no free time... if they arent playing hockey... they are practicing... training... volunteering...traveling... doing fundraisers... even in the summer they train every day and this guy has some fundraiser every week... dont get me wrong... they get paid a ton of money... but its not a cakewalk...

Like I said earlier... The government is paying people to help control their numbers... My cousin gets paid to go to islands where cormorants have nests and spray the nests killing the eggs... I just don't think the government wants to announce they are poisoning thousands of eggs or else the tree huggers would start a protest...

Looks like the Alexandria ice derby... 1500 people on a pond... Holes are 25 feet apart in a straight line... Lines are 25feet apart... So you basically get a 25 foot circle per person...

I love fixing up boats... Especially the wiring... My Lund wiring was a mess... The previous owner took shortcuts everywhere he could... I tore apart the entire boat and reworked everything... Looks like a professional did the work...

I've been out in conditions like the ones in the painting... After being cold and wet all day nothing warms you up like getting the fish your after... Very "cool" painting... Now I need a coffee to warm me up...

I Understand some investments will do better then gold... But some investments tank... Gold is a very safe investment... You won't get rich on buying gold... But chances are you won't go broke and lose your life savings either... This is just my 2 cents... I'm a guy that would rather play it safe and have a decent life then risk my families future on an investment gamble...
