  2. Well I was in toys-r-us today when I came across this must have toy... The packaging said 3 years and up... Connor is only 7.5 months... Close enough...lol I figure I can help him hold and crank this toy... So he's ready for the real thing ASAP... Sorry Forgot the pic
  3. My rapala isn't cordless but it is an awsome unit... Looked at the cordless but I never clean fish far from power... And if I have to I can slab walleye with a regular fillet knife...
  4. ive learned to appreciate the lunch/afternoon pint/quart as well...just 1 but its always at a licensed restaurant on the water... or back at the boathouse...
  5. That snow is just hitting us now... And all my early ice sports have 1-3 inches... Now they will have insulation against the coming cold weather... : (
  6. Nice haul... Hoping to hit tge crappies this weekend on the ice...
  7. Ha... Went once... Got skunked... Don't think I can handle the idiots on the tribs... I don't have patients for dummies when I drive 3 hours or more to fish... And jerks ruin your day... And I'm still in my boat... Walleye Walleye Walleye
  8. Yeah... Horseshoe...Lol ...
  9. That starts next week on the ice...
  10. Glad to see someone else taking advantage of this weather... Good job
  11. I do icefish... But I dont enjoy it nearly as much as open water... I don't mind the cold so much... Until lines freeze... About -2...-5... That's my temperature limit in the boat... So untill we get steady temps below -5 every day... I'll be in my boat... But every fall I start thinking about those 25/30 degres days when I was cursing the heat and start missing it... Come on April...
  12. I'm now drooling...
  13. It's the same with her meat pies... Anybody who has ever had em says there the best they ever had... Only my mom knew the recipe... Now my fiancé as well as my brothers fiancé know the recipe... That's it...
  14. She's picky who she cooks for...
  15. Mom made me a fresh jar of sauce for Christmas... Mmmmmm
  16. That's good... It'll be easier to talk her into coming down here some time...lol
  17. Pop up is nice cause they're roomy... But not heavy... You can use it alone or 3-4 inside... If you got a flip over for 3-4 people... You wouldn't want to use it alone... Way to big... Sounds like you should grab a pop up... As far as floor... Just bring a piece of wood big enough to get your feet off the ice... 2x6 or 8. 2-3 feet long

  19. -5 and up has been fine for myself... Put vasoline in your rod guides to prevent icing up... I'm still getting out in my boat... Only problem I've had this year... One morning we launched and it was -8... My throttle cable was frozen... Got the motor started and controlled the throttle manually for about 45 minutes till it warmed the cable...
  20. Sorry... Forgot to add these

  23. i might try and weasel out for a bit... why do you ask?
  24. well ive been holding off on doing a year long recap because ive been giving everything i had in me to hit a goal... part way threw the year my brother and myself both decided that we might EACH hit 500 walleye... the bar was set and the fish more then cooperated with us... my brother is around 600 and i just broke threw the *******1000******* mark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im by no means done for the year... but now i can relax a bit... and share my year with you guys... so my numbers as of now are 44 musky with 2 52 inchers being the biggest 1002 walleye with plenty of fish over 25 inches with the biggest being 9.6lbs local and 10.5lbs from quinte... most of those walleye are quality size fish... but this fall i got into a jigging bite with high numbers of walleye under 18 inches... they account for about 300 fish... the other 700 were all over 18 inches... most were around 3lbs... with a 7-8lb fish gracing the net every 2 days or so... and i even tried pike fishing this year with some success... 2 days of pike fishing got us 25 pike... and dont think i forgot about you bass guys... even tho im not fond of them... we get some big smallies here by accident... anyways... enough talking... heres the pics...\ hope you enjoy and walleye number 1000 what a year....... ....
