  1. I have 2 pair of H2optix. 1 pair for sunny days and a pair for cloudy. I got them at Elwood Epps fishing store and from what I've been told they still carry them. They weren't that expensive either.
  2. There's a place in Brantford called Kelloways. He's got all kinda parts for all sleds. Search the name on kijiji and you mcan get his number.
  3. heading up friday morning at 6am. If your coming up call my cell at 519-503-4553
  4. Any body out at joe in the last few days? wondering how the ice is holding up?
  5. Suffix for me on the main line. I use suffix for all my river stuff.
  6. Thanks everyone for the info and tips, I wear the mustang early ice and late ice for safety reasons. Hope I can post some pics when I return!
  7. Heading up to lake joeseph this weekend, and wondering if any has any ice info to share. Thanks!

  9. From what I herd from dad there will only be a couple guys workin in there. So not quite sure of the hours but I will mention stayin open later Friday night for the people headin north.
  10. Merry X-mas all, just a little info for those of you heading north in the new year. Ellwood Epps has bought out the old Pete's Bait and Tackle on Hwy 11. They have restocked and will be opening the first week in Jan 08. They will be selling live bait. This is not to advertise, but to inform. If you guys and gals go in ask for Mike that's my Dad he'll look after you!
  11. I moved to Cambridge 7 years ago. Lots of quality fishing in the area if you willing to put some time in. Hard water best bets Valens 8 bucks to get in( atomatic gate ), puslinch not sure how much it is too park there now, Shades Mills tough to fish, funny hours doesn't open every year. Lots of fun too be had in the area. Great tackle shop on the corner of King&Eagle. Friendly staff with lots of advise. Good luck
  12. I agree, that the species your fishing for may change the hole size. I use a 6 inch hole because I can drill 3 holes in my trap pro, and still have room( 2 rods, 1 vex ).
