did you get a free PFD Mike?
-
Mike when i had to replace mine i took the advice of Ryan (Urban Fisherman) and bought one of the Fugi water proof cameras....its been a year and a half of total abuse on the camera and keeps on working it has video functions and take pretty darn good shots @ 10MP ....the only complaint i have with it is its a bit too compact for getting the SD card and battery in and out of....but still a great buy for the money...i paid 200 but i think they have dropped in price to a buck fifty or so .....so it wont break the bank if you have the inevitable happen again... would i buy this camera again? (glad you asked) i think so but i havent seen whats out there now as a durable cheap fishing camera that takes pretty good pics edit to add ...i also have a floating strap attached to it ...so its just a matter of turning the boat around and picking up the camera

Paxton gets refered to as a Pit all the time...it used to bother me that people couldnt see the difference...so for the less informed i made this sign and let them believe he is a Pit...

Thanks for the tip Bill ....ill give it a shot next time...alot of the distortion comes from the extreme wind and rolling waves in most of the pic...i was suprised on a few of the pics that there wasnt a few floating clouds of water because of the waves splashing up on the pier....i went down there at 12 30 am last night and seen three deer just standing on the bridge but i didnt get the camera off the tripod in time....kinda looked like two of them were trying to talk one of them out of jumping

the radio stations controlled the gas wars in Alberta years ago....all they had to do was advertise the best gas prices in town...and people flocked to the stations....it worked well but fizzled out as soon as the big guys lowered their prices the momentum was broken...and all went back to gouging again...there were a few small stations that went under too because they couldnt afford to reduce the price...

Billionaire US Citizen blocking access to public lakes

nope just a mere catalyst for a much bigger root of evil....im quit confident falling the trees across the road isnt the BIG MOVE in this process...If the anglers were clever they would remove the trees from the roads and send a bill to the township for maintenance...even if they didnt get paid it would open up access again and then have a fishing tournament to generate some cashflow for the up and comming legal represenmtation that they may require in the near future -
very good documentation young_one and great on you and Mike (as well as everyone else) for your efforts

WHAT ????You should have taken a pic of that ...its not like you were doing anything else I had my Golden(also named Zoe) swimming in the fast shallows of the Saugeen and she picked up the wrong end of a dead line...no more river swimming for her...just not worth it (only mention this for your dogs safety...didnt cross my mind at the time) Great videos Mike...its easy to see she has good Owners and that should make the breeder have peace of mind

its alotta fun isnt it ...i love the time i spend with the dogs and the camera....almost as good as fishing... First pic.....AMAZING if only you could have caught his full reflection in the water while in the air but still an awesome shot!!! Second pic.....Black and whites expose the soul of a subject Third Pic.....Colour exposes the collar and his pedigree jewels which incidentally might cost you yours if you take the wifes camera to the river and wreck it ... Nice shooting -
well well well little man....i see by the entry card you used for that fish you wish you were on the team thats going to win the big show this year ....although it is a very nice little fish your going to have to do much better than that and step up your game ....granted you have accomplished something already by being the first entry of the year so for that ....Good on ya Nice shootin G!
