Seen some nasty falls out there. U got a tough time getting me out there now without a set of cleats on. Glad your ok and nothing more than a headache. Can be some scary stuff.
-
If u can't see the blood around them as a warning sign then u deserve to break your leg. Lol
-
That was a fun morning for sure. Even got my cleat back on the walk back in!
-
I've seen them 5 or 6 years ago off big bay point... aswell as parry sound and north bay. Pretty cool and a pleasure to watch

Egbs, cleos, spiners and especially worm harnesses will catch you numbers of splake, troll the shoreline weaving in and out, 3-15fow. Cast into the trees or overhanging/fallen logs or rockey points. Ive caught many spring splake/brookies and lakers in a foot of water less than 2' from shore!

Im not pouring myself right now, but these guys would have you a mold at your doorstep in 3 days. Its an option if your stuck!

Yea, though we were on the ocean at times, pretty cool icebergs for sure. Ice starts at collingwood, and was open as far as i.could up the lake towards owen sound. We did the entire shoreline to thornbury and back, 5-18fow, plannerboards with bodybaits. Some serious waterflow comming out of any river/creek making som decent mudlines to troll around. Water temp was consistant at 36. on getting the riggers out this week, hopefully get some fish pics next

Well ive been watching the ice like a hawk over the last 2 weeks, boats ready at the drop of a hat, riggers mounted, now all I been needing is some ooen water and a launch to go to. Well after the weather report for sunday came out with the amout of rain their calling for and the high winds I said screw tomorrow morning, this afternoon is the time to go. Loaded tinner in back of truck, called a bud, and half hour later we were on out way to try and flatline up some dinner! Found open water earlier than expected and cursed I hadnt brought the big boat, water is definitely up from previous years. Put the tinner in the water and started our troll, we covered a tonne of water and shoreline and fished from just the other side of collingwood up to thornbury and back. Never had a bite. Saw zero fish, 8 guys at indian, 5 guys at thornbury, 4 or 5 guys at craiglieth provincial park and 2 guys down at shale beach fishin, noone had any fish but even with the rain it was just nice to get out on the soft water! Been way too long! Bought a couple new mooching rod/reel combos, going to be a fun summer I hope! with the mountains in the background, and the icebergs floatin around made for some stunnin scenery.

No more toddy tickles? what the hell, thought he was on vacation, missed last part of show today, this is first ive heard of this. Todd has come a long long ways from when he first started on the show, stupid humor but still one of.the.few things that help get though the day

Brian, they do, only for a week or two but ive caught them up to 14lbs in bighead, seen enough out of beaver and sydenham, to know there around. I remember seing a pic of rick matuzick from the fish eye view of bob izumis show with a 25 lb brown from montgomery rapids area years ago. As for the white stuff, thats snow, we were from a boat,

Went for a rainbow fish this spring, or at least was trying to catch bows, first fish of the morning was a 5lbs brown, half hour later got a 6 lbs brown, couldnt believe our eyes, 2 good browns in such a short period of time, about an hout later my rod went for a good rip, ten min later we got a quick glimpse of what we thought was a big salmon, nope, was the biggest gb brown ive ever seen, ive seen more browns the last 4 years than I have in past 15 out of gb. No fin clips, where are these fish comming from? Any thoughts?

Emil, you should have said something last week. I think its total battery on dunlop st barrie had afew in stock, just mine for 25 bucks. I can always pick.one up for you when I fly home in afew weeks, cant do much here in manitoba -
Black forest always has less ice early in the year, last spot on simcoe to get safe ice, alot of current in that area.
-
I was going to go get a ford but the people at two ford dealerships here in barrie totally turned me off, called dodge and they were more than happy to help me out, put me into a 2011 ram 1500 quad cab 4x4 slt. Love it so far. Gas isnt the best but still better than my old explorer. For the price, very happy I went with dodge

Decent walleye numbers on ramsey, can fish all around science north, good structure and was one of the main spots locals told me to try when I worked up there this summer. I tbink minnow was loaded with small pike.
