  9. Watch out for the leafs next year, copy and respond all u want but they're improving and will make the playoffs. The bolts are actually lookin real good tho, roloson reminds me of his minnesota days, contender for sure
  10. welcome dude, would love to see some pics of your catches if available. It's funny how carp and cats are the primary target over there while pike, walleye and bass are secondary. Quite the opposite here. You should have no problem finding good carp fishing or fishing in general in your area. Best of luck
  11. I' not sure stocking pickerel in the Kawarthas is the greatest idea since I believe it affects the natural strain already in the lakes. Stocked fish have questionable reproduction rates and i'd hate to see a fishery as good as the kawarthas affected by this. All things considered, the kawarthas have held up pretty good against the massive pressure recieved from the GTA and surrounding areas. Keep pumpin any and all kinds of trout and salmonoids in the big lake though, we all know know its a put and put back fishery anyhow. My 2 cents
  12. fishburn, i worked up north of fort mac and i heard that lake Athabasca is heavily polluted from the oilsands. if i were u i would head straight for NWT or at least stay out of those greasy Alberta whiteys
  13. John i hope u get the help you need down there.
  14. hey Mike, can u get handlebarz anywhere near Kingston? maybe pro tackle in Belleville has them?

  16. not sure why people would want to keep them anyway, lake O fish are not the greatest tasting or healthiest eating but to each his own. I hope this moves forward though and good luck niceguy

  20. you guys r mad about no helmets on an atv and havin to walk? must have been terrrifying, seriously though whatever happened to just going out fishing and enjoying the day. i wish the leafs could beat the lowly isles and get into the playoffs this year but at least i know that theres always next year and ten next years after that. GO LEAFS GO!
  21. keep it simple, steelheading is actually one of the simplest forms of fishing. you just have to be aware of presentation, try to keep your presentation inconspicuous ie: flouro leads, clear floats and scale down hook sizes, basically all you have to do is drift a fly, pink worms or roebags in various streams. as soon as your float goes under, lay into em and hang on, very good fighters. you just need to keep tryin and get a feel for it, once you do its like second nature, good luck out there im sure that you'll do well
  22. penn state never stood a chance, the crunch is on and they are playing real hockey as of late
  23. drives you to drink.... hopefully the prices stay fair tho
