  1. havent fished it personally but fished alot of nearby lakes. heard there is half decent musky fishing and i blieve there is pickerel, bass and pike. pretty heavily pressured i think so i wouldnt get my hopes up but u never know. like i said i havent been there but thats just what ive heard

  3. too many fisherman on simcoe, the jumbos arent there in the big numbers like they used to be, if it wasnt for stocking there wouldnt be a fish left but the average size of whiteys and trout is pretty good anyway, good luck dude

  5. congratulations u r in one of the best places for year round fishing opportunities in the world, as the paddler said googling any warmwater inflows at plants are known casting spots, niagra river as well as some other systems in your area which may or may not be open, but if i were you i would spend 20-30 bucks on an ice rod and a bit of gear and get to fishing the kawarthas or muskokas through the ice. i forgot to add that u will need to get an auger, but once u start gettin em through the ice u cant stop. take a day to go with someone familiar with the bay of quinte, u wont regret it

Hey guys, i was just wondering if anyone knew of some good spots to go ice fishingin and around Edmonton. i am headed out there to attend school in January and February, any help would be much appreciated, i assume that it is mostly pike and wallys and i was hoping to find a few lakes to jig, thanks a bunch Kerr

  13. good job on the skis bud, hey bill where did u hear about a stringer being used like that, there was an incident this year that i heard of on a lake x where a 50+ was killed because of overhandling /stringer? just curious if you and i r speaking of the same incident.

  16. camillj is wrong and so is ctranter for that matter, johnny bass is an ambassadeur for canadian sportfishing and i would let him take a dump on my dock anyday, if the water is used appropriatly there should be no issues, how is it disrespectful to fish docks? get real

  19. lots of bowfin on the rideau system here north of kingston, my biggest is 10 lbs. i got one on a popular rideau lake and an identical twin in the evergl,ades just oustdise of fort lauderdale, awesome fight each time with one of them almost snapping my rod in two, good report man keep em coming

  23. best tasting best fighting,pretty much the best fish u can get through the ice, i have been in the same situation when the burbots willl just keep pummeling your bait one after another and it is awesome. keep your eyes open for a fifteen pounder as that is goona be the easiest record to break, best report ever man, seriously
