  1. seems Cook Bay hut operators are removing their huts the end may be in sight time too work on the Lund where did I store the toon
  2. My only concerns would be near rivers and water outlets. Plus right at shore. Otherwise I think it should be fine
  3. Man that sucks And is becoming way to common occurrence
  4. groups take minutes at meeting get past meeting minutes to prove anglers have been telling them from the get go that would prove they are lying about no knowing and that this is the first they are hearing about it or at very least take screen shots of their facebook page proving they know about it this year so next year they cant lie again make sure they are told this happens yearly not just this year
  5. my problem is I heard pretty much the same stuff last year is there any documentation that the "float your" people were well informed about the problem or is everyone just whining, while no one is trying to stop it or educate them
  6. nicely done outside lol
  7. same as the guys who have a sport licence and catch a muskie under the legal size most take photos and then release them but could be charged for taking your time, taking 20 hero shots, endangering the a non legal fish
  8. That is too bad about the operator I had a dealing with one from Beaverton too News reports and police and others always said Ask the Hut operators about ice conditions before you venture out So I did. The guy said to me if you don't know the conditions rent a hut or take your chances. He was there to run a business not give out free info. Anyway. 11 lbs of perch sounds good to me.
  9. Looks like fun. If you had longer arms that fish would be huge lol

  16. I am so saddened by this My thoughts are with you Her joy of fishing will be missed
  17. Same if it's in the slot or out off season. You slip it back in the water to be recycled by other fish
  18. You can fish for Muskie with a con license
  19. on simcoe i only had numbers on the hut, never any other paperwork at one time i had 2 huts out both used the same number never been asked for proof of numbers or ownership
  20. Yup a pressure crack can open up in a few seconds any time of the day. and if the area has fresh snow. You can't see it No one in the world can predict them. There would be no hut businesses if someone had to 100% wait for. "Safe ice"
  21. I agree Fresh snow and an open pressure crack is one of those things you have no control over
  22. nice
