  1. Yup a pressure crack can open up in a few seconds any time of the day. and if the area has fresh snow. You can't see it No one in the world can predict them. There would be no hut businesses if someone had to 100% wait for. "Safe ice"
  2. I agree Fresh snow and an open pressure crack is one of those things you have no control over
  3. nice
  4. its all fun and games till someone loses a fish lol oh wait it was fun after too

    Really nice shot
  6. Lots of operators have their transportation go through the ice I got kicked off a forum that caters to cooks bay for posting photos and warning people , their people hauler broke though and was stuck They do try to hide this stuff but a camera on every phone and social media. Nothing is hidden anymore
  7. There are catch and release records too. But the catch and keep records are the important ones
  8. Beer will do. Lol And leave the pot for sen fans
  9. Can you just do the second one there or do both have to be done to be legal

  11. He will not give location. He sent everyone to Johnson Beach so no one would be at his spot. Lol.

  17. most areas where 3 inches i saw some 2.5 and the spud went through with one hit in a couple of places i like 3 hits to feel safe
  18. N71 58.490 W94 54.909 fun to get out but the ice was a little thin for my comfort zone
  19. I have no problem with people keeping their limit. I am however glad that they did put a limit on pan fish Many people only get to fish one or 2 times a year. So 50 perch limit is not a lot for a yearly take of perch. Now the morons that post a limit of fish 5 days in a row. You might well believe they have a freezer full and are breaking the law
  20. I have the 18v dewalt and it worked fine on the 6" auger I changed to the 8" and it is unusable. Just too hard on it. So it's back to the 6 or my gas auger
  21. now you're just making stuff up i believe I clearly stated i have a problem and think i said i was glad to see the cops involved, but sure make up you own story and the last while i was talking about other operators not this goof any any operator has the right to set any rules he wants as to limits drinking and as in fly in many will not let you take any fish home they tell you before you go and if you don't like it you don't book with them and that is the way it is you must follow their rules. and of course they can't be racist
  22. Think of it however you want no i was just telling it like it is at many business* not sure where you were going with your post so i will not visit this thread any more
  23. with out a doubt the guy is a moron and most likely a racist but when other operators state that everyone using their huts or flyin services must follow the sport licence or con licence limits the only people who can do otherwise are people with a status card so without them sounding racist they have done the exact same thing
  24. The older tracks are too hard on smaller atvs But newer tracks gives you smaller sprockets for smaller machines. The only problem with that is. Most tracks limit you to 65% of topend But with a smaller sprocket. It can be 40%. So if your machine did 100k your topend would be 40k. At full throttle and no one would run at full throttle so your cruising speed would be about 25 k. If that is good enough. Then tracks are the way to go
