  1. the best advise I can give is make the longest cast you can, then pull out 25 ft more line and put 4" of electrical tape on the line on the reel and turn the reel a couple of times then when you get a birds nest(and you will get them), it will be very minor and it makes learning to cast a lot easier then in time you will cast and the tape will come peeling off, so put out a bit more line and add the tape again when it is real windy and I need to keep casting into the wind I still put the tape on the line to stop the bird nests good luck

  16. I only know of one true bungalow on simcoe, it's on cooks bay and there are perch in the area jumbos at times but as it's been said North bay for bungalow what do you want to fish for, it would help narrow the search down and if just a hut will do, then there are lots of places

  23. I couldn't find a link to the am pay out.... it is a lot of money for an am, if a person want to get into tourney fishing, I think it's a must.... but I've had not much good luck doing pro/ams..it is luck of the draw... first one the guy couldn't find any fish so I pointed him a spot on Wellers bay where we got limits of fish on the last day of the tourney, the guy was way out of the money so he decided not to go anywhere and save gas money and wear and tear...never started the main motor never lost sight of the weigh in..and we got one fish...LOL but other guys I know got to fish with Frost and BOB and other guys worth the price of admission
  24. 850 bucks..as an am...dang
