  5. what what why is everyone trying to drown me with monster waves...........
  6. I don't know if I would want to be standing that close to a big moose with only a bow
  7. the crestliner dealer in riverdrive park/hollandlanding has been know to trade trailers.. but on many trailers you can do an after market swing mod, so the first foot or 2 of the trailer can swing to the side when parked to give that little extra room I like crestliners myself
  8. anyone need a partner for the tourney I got the bug again...LOL just kidding....good luck guys hey is that John Macdonald from around Chemong lake the one that was partnered with Dave Johnson for a while or a different one
  9. but the dogs are that way, down there because their toilets flush the other direction
  10. and the gps is way more accurate 20 years ago most of the guys running bass boat thought they were running between 70 and 85 mph according to their Speedometer...gps with speed display were not available at that time they had a radar gun at a tourney and it turned out most were doing between 52 and 68 mph.... the Speedometers don't do well at real slow speeds too...maybe they have gotten better the last few years
  11. but you don't know the facts nor do I but woulda coulda shoulda...crap who to say he didn't shoot over their heads every day this week, but had a lamb cornered and it was time to end it or maybe the dogs killed one of his animals or maybe he say the law states I can so I did......no one knows people are coming to conclusions without having even the basic facts.........lets be holier then thou and make up the facts to support our position.....give me a break.....
  12. can't wait to get down there thanks for the report nice fish
  13. yeah but maybe he just thought I have the right to shoot them and did or maybe he has had an on going problem with wild dogs attacking/scaring his herd and at this point he felt he had no choice but to shoot dogs coming near his animals.... again I don't know what the truth is and I would think we will never know I do remember years ago we had a pack of wild dogs around the Keswick area..they were hurting the farmers a lot they were not afraid of people and scared the heck out of many of the locals..if you saw 2 or more dogs that you didn't know coming towards you, you ran inside till they left and a few local pet dogs started running with the pack too. a local trapper went out and shot them all and that put a stop to it , but for a few months it was scary to walk around by yourself and I would think the farmer did not let the dogs get close enough to see if they had tags or not... but who knows
  14. without knowing what the farmer saw before he shot them sure makes it hard to form an opinion on this story...
  15. I had a great time fishing was tough and the wind was tougher you just can't describe what it feels like to have a wall of water hit you like it did.. one of us, not me, had a windshield to protect them (somewhat) I was wearing my good rain suit and it did not protect me I was wet from head to toe..I have never been that wet while having a bath, that's how wet I was.. I had the hood up and I bet 10 gallons of water went in the hood and down my front and back inside the rain suit, we will not even try to talk about my wet butt... but it was nice and warm and the 50k gusts of wind dried me out pretty quick thanks for the invite Brian I had a blast Terry
  16. great photos
  17. Mike the Pike...I am more a hammer and nail kind of guy, when it comes to my job I learnt by hanging around this website and playing with the computer and photo editing software I never learnt the right way to do things but I did find ways to get the results I want..... all I did to make that effect was download a picture of a real tiger copied it and paste it on top of the muskie then I stretched it to cover all of the muskie then I erased all the tiger that wasn't on the muskie then I viewed layers and I made the tiger about 50% transparent and that was the results piece of cake
  18. they sure can jump
  19. you are a good debater but because someone writes his Memoirs, does not make it fact... and there are lots of facts to support both sides you seem to believe your facts are written in stone while everyone else is full of crap in the real world it's not that black and white and one would need a pretty big shovel to dig up the truth ...
  20. wow nice fish
  21. I would be surprised if you caught any pike there this time of year cooks bay would be my choice
  22. good report but the pictures if you are going to photoshop do it right.....LOL
  23. muskie are native to Balsam pike are not because of the types of lake most of the kawarthas are the muskie can not compete with the pike for spawning grounds and the muskie die off it has happened to all the lakes coming from lake simcoe, like canal lake and are now making their way to balsam, because of a man made canal system and the pike upset the balance so again I say I will kill and eat any pike that show up in Balsam lake and would hope everyone else does the same
  24. I was dunking for buckets, but got the skunk today
  25. very nice I will keep my eyes opened for a trailer
