I was there about 8 years ago before the new management we wanted to fish for walleye on their back lakes I called a week before or trip was booked to make sure all was a go they said everything was fine..I asked about the walleye and all was fine we got there and the first thing they said was the back lake for walleye were closed because they had major winter kill that winter.. I said but you said walleye fishing was fine he said you can do all the walleye fishing you want on the main lake.. so I asked so where do I fish for them out there.. his answer, I really do know no one really ever catches them on this lake, but the bass and trout fishing is great..say what.. so I said I would like to fish for bass where Bob Isumi was fishing for them on his show.. his answer...you will not find any bass there Bob fished that lake for his show before the season opened so I felt they were not honest with me so I would never go back

Electric knives are gimmicks...I disagree like you said, you have been doing it for years..so sure it's a piece of cake..for you for those that only cut up fish a couple of times a year an electric knife makes the job much easier, quicker they may be a crutch, but not a gimmick

in this neck of the woods a few of them numbers would be much higher..much much higher but I think the piss in the pool would be much lower at 1:161,344 you would have to swallow about 80 gallons of water to get that much pee in you

might be a little early.... but just like on simcoe there are guys who know the lake and test and test the ice and know where to set up...all quite safe..guys were icefishing between the island and main land watching the ferry go by breaking ice to the island, but knew they were on safe ice where they were. but then the problem is people hear..hey huts on the lake and the wannabes...start going out without checking and testing and fall through..

you are just making me feel bad about not getting out fishing enough......LOL some nice fish there and fishing with the family is the best

I saw a judge in Barrie tell a contractor who worked on new house construction that self employed is no excuse to get out of jury duty the guy said if he doesn't get back to the job he will lose the contract, which is his work for the next 2 years, Judge said hire someone to take your place..guy said I could but it will take a month or 2 to train someone to do the work the way it needed to be done just to be laid off in a few weeks when I am back to work ....Judge said not my problem
