    nope

Thumbs up to you boys! Cheers!
  2. ....interesting stuff and a sore point with me. Albeit the law seems a little ridiculous, but the gentleman across the lake from my father in law's hunt camp on a little lake that USED to be a good naturally reproducing speck lake has since been ruined because he saw it fit to "self stock" it full of smallies so his grandson could catch fish from their dock. Admittedly this took years but now we don't see the specks and the bass are plenty! Don't get me wrong....I like the idea of my now 3y/o boy catching fish so easily and close to camp...but being on a remote speck lake with only three camps on it was very nice! A shame if you ask me! The law in question is a good law!
  3. slammed em in Algoma Mills' Lauzon Creek on Sunday!
  4. lets hope for a good end to a bad story! Wish all involved luck!
  5. I can't see you needing anything more! Great selection.
  6. As a 32 y/o "young guy" (I think).....I say cheers to you JohnF!
  7. you must be single or your wife is a gem!
  8. Wow! Thanks! Congrats!
  9. what Rick said! Ain't broke.....
  10. This is one oughta get good! I'm guessing you don't have a live well in your boat. I too don't agree with the harvest of trophy bass, but the regs are the regs and I like to believe they're there for a reason and proper management is one of them!
  11. Went through the same thing a little over three years ago! Awesome. Buckle up and make the best of it! You'll never forget this ride! All the best and congrats! Cheers!
  12. I'm starting to think this unit won't be good for me. I'm assuming since it's from BPS I can work out an upgrade/exchange. Thanks for all the replies and pm's. Essentially all I want is a topo map of ontario for when I'm out hunting new lakes on either my snowmachine or 4wheeler I've got something to work with other than the compass! I like to hunt out secluded speck lakes around here using my stocking list and GPS.
  13. Fishing's been slow in Prov the last few years Buster. I still go every year waiting for it to improve....but!!! This year the numbers were better but the size still wasn't back! I hope you did better though. Help me out if you did!
  14. and a very eloquent nickel at that! Cheers my friend!
  15. Hi all! Any suggestions on where or how to download the Garmin Maps for a new GPS!? My wife recently bought me the garmin etrex Venture HC to replace an older Lowrance unit I had that I lost and I just went onto their site and the Canadian Trails maps alone is $156 us and the roads maps are another $100 usd. I don't remember paying near that for the Lowrance. I don't really want to get into a garmin vs. Magellan vs Lowrance vs. ..... debate. Any suggestions?
  16. done and good luck to them!
  17. I hope it isn't the stator. Unfortunate thing is I changed that last year too! I may leave it alone as the sled is running as good as ever and I hate messing with it now. Problably going to be a summer project to avoid down time!
  18. glad I wasn't the first to bring it up! Wow!
  19. Have used stub hub twice and have been very satisfied! You're clearly okay with paying inflated prices and that's the only knock on them I can see so you should be happy!. I'd bet though if you're willing to take the chance considering the economy and all....there may be better deals to be had via scalpers near the event. Have a blast!
  20. Makes sense. I'll try that tonight. Thanks everyone!
  21. my charger reads that the battery is full. I'll try with a new battery. Mine is a couple of years old. Thanks for all the advice so far.
  22. bump. Anyone?
  23. Will do. Thanks.
  24. Sorry. Didn't understand. I clicked the link and saw the pic....thus thinking "it looked good to me". Good luck. Look forward to the rest of the pics.
