Look into the Spanish River...located a little more than an hour West of Sudbury...Vance's Resort, Mitchell's Camps, Blue Heron Resort, Brennan Harbour Resort....multi species and reasonable prices! It's where the famous Spanish River flows into the North Channel of Lake Huron. Enjoy your trip wherever you go.

I agree. Good bargain too....might be the best D in the league provided the top 6 stay healthy. Good goaltending...and good D can win you some games...let's hope some of the young forwards overachieve a bit.

...my wife and I (both licensed anglers) take our 4y/o boy out walleye fishing (only fish we keep usually) and we let him reel them all in...???? We broke the law right!? He's over limit!!!! I'm really getting sick of the over zealous conservationist tone we've been getting around here! Don't get me wrong...I'm a conservationist...and a sportsman but it seems lately that keeping a fish for the table is a crime! Let's promote this great sport and not make everyone feel like they are criminals!

...a simple "google" search finds this....A B.C. man has been fined over $5,500.00 after pulling more than the legal limit of lake trout from Lake of Bays. Kevin Lavers had been fishing near Dorset on May 6th when he was fined for catching and keeping 6 lake trout. The legal limit is two per day. The next day, Lavers was caught and fined for the same offence. I read .." A B.C man" I think tourist? Not fair to the one that was assumed if this is a case of mistaken identity!!!???

(hamsters are spinning) I'm always open to smart and open debate and that was just that~ I still fear the "black market" commercial fisherpeople (or what they can do to our fisheries) and I guess maybe that's why I get my back up...don't get me wrong...I've been known to keep a nice eater limit of most species and will continue to do so while respecting our resources! and I'm the first to admit I've supported both sides of the argument financially (restaurant and market) and ....well....well...you win DAN. I stand corrected! Great argument! Being self employed I often employ the phrase "business is business" maybe I need to hear that in this case! Let's hope it works out!? Cheers. Let's keep the faith in those claiming to want to sustain the fishery and hope they are strong enough the educate those that are too SELFISH to care.

I am assuming that these restaurants are used to buying fish out of basket for two bucks lol. Nobody is going to pay 14 dollars a pound now when they probably will still be able to buy them out of a cooler for much cheaper. ...this previous post being the point! Those used to paying pennies on the dollar will continue paying pennies...and the "properly/legally" harvested and cleaned fish will find its way elsewhere! ...only an opinion!

I doubt it! Low decks...you should be able to lift them in...no different than picking up the back end up out of deep snow...maybe one in front ways and the other back end in first...but will be tight.
