I was at UFC in Montreal the year GSP was there. Our seats were about $200/each and we were about ten rows up from floor and I found myself watching most of the fights on the score clock! Good times though...best live sporting event I've ever been to and I've been lucky to have been to see most major sporting events in the last ten years.
Those guys in Affliction shirts were surprisingly tame and well behaved...everyone was out for a good time when we poured out onto the streets...and I was concerned about that too! Never saw a single bar fight and we were in lots! Who knows what it would've been like if GSP lost though???
A 600 series Samsung LCD right now in my opinion is the best "all around" set...I sell them all...and that's my pick. $700 for a 40" $900 for a 46" and about $1300 for a 55". My opinion...but I do own a store that sells all the brands and that's my pick. I do agree though that a Panasonic Plasma wins on picture quality...but all around I say Samsung 6series LCD. Good luck with your choice but I think that for the most part you won't be dissapointed with anything you buy...it will likely be an upgrade and you won't have 6 other competitor sets in your living room to compare it too.
I too think LED is overrated for the money.
Cheers.
I guess it depends which you'd rather debate in court. If you release a fish with the intention/hope of it living... are you not only doing what you are supposed to do legally?(seagulls or hawks or any other animals need to eat too...circle of life...ecosystems?) The alternative...do you take on the argument that that slot sized fish in your live well or on your stringer is only there cuz a knuckle ball jig went too deep down his yap and you felt sorry for it and felt it better to release it to a pan of grease? I'm not saying your intentions are immoral or necessarily wrong...only illegal.
I love fish, care for the fish and our resources...but I also love my boat, equipment and my money....around here a deep hooked wally in the slot becomes animal food. Sorry! I hear what you're saying, but consequences can be harsh!
...a tad harsh...no? Give the guy a break...don't you remember your first set of wheels? Good Luck with the project Mike! Get it on the road and tweak her as you go along! Enjoy it and the freedom to explore that it brings you!
there are advantages there...and places you don't want to take a trailer! I know of many instances where we've left the perfectly good shore laner trailer behind to throw the 14ft tinney in the box of a truck so we didn't have to haul a trailer...that being said, I still wouldn't pay that kind of money for that...but I'm still young???
I don't think anyone would have faulted anyone if that approach would have been taken immediately (calling cops)...but it wasn't. I think the issue is that Splash went to the neighbor's yard had his fit...had the adult chat then went to the cops! I don't feel bad for the kid...he needs a kick in the butt or a scare...but I'm sure "dad" doesn't deserve the headache according to how Splash told US himself how "dad" handled the confrontation!!?? As I've mentioned before...there won't be a winner here regardless and I hope it works out well for all involved.
I agree. By the way the conversation with "dad" apppeared to go, it sounds like he would have taken care of things and that gun was history! It's an unfortunate situation, but at the end of the day they are your neighbors and you're going to have to live next door! I hope it all plays out well for you though....
Dad may not be as quick to to help in the replacement though!? I'd also be calling my insurance.
I agree! The guy is a bum! Let's find a way to extend Kaberle and bring Richards to town! This team is fun to watch! I'm on the fence with Phaneuf but I think I'd rather have him than not. What about the McCarthur and Armstrong pickups? It's obvious Burke/Wilson may lack in the personality department with the press and on TV but they are on to something in Leaf Town!!! Go Leafs!!!!
