Spent 27 years of my life in Keswick and Newmarket. Have been living in Louisville, Kentucky now for the past 3 1/2 years.

I picked up a Shimano Citica 200 with 6:1 ratio. Its been a pretty good real. Im still trying to figure out the shimano break system. My next big purcahses will be the Calcutta 400 and St Croix Priermer MH 7'6 muskie rod. Cant waite.

Has any body gone to any of the muskie shows south of the border? There is one in Columbus Ohio and one in chicago that i know of. Are there good deals to be had on rods and real, lures. etc?

I will bbq all year long. I am also the main cook of the house, but love to eat so thats why i dont mind cooking.

I only live about 2 hours away from Dale Hallow but have yet to fish it. I hear lots of good things and they also have a 21 inch slot on smallies (i think) which helps.

Hey Lew I do want to get the rod. The problem is convincing my wife why i need another fishing rod. Thats always hard to do, espcially since i have eight of them. I try to explain that each rod has a different application and i try to make the analogy to differnt types of women shoes or purses. Maybe she will agree.
