My wife always makes me promise to wear my pfd when i go out. Once I had the bad luck of falling out of a canoe in mid may, and thank god i was wearing a pfd. Me and the other guy were able to swim back to shore pulling the canoe and gear. There was nobody around to help us either. It was long and cold swim back.

Its working fine and no problems yet (knock of wood).

I have 5 year old mercury 15hp 4 stroke outboard and i have never had the impeller changed. I am thinking that i should get it changed this year. Is this something that i could do by myself, or do you guys recommend having it done at a marina? How much would something like this cost to replace? Thanks for the input.
