Have a nice house to live in, in a good heighbourhood. Regretably, the landlord and the neighbouring bakery are having a pissing match. Next thing I know neighbour has involved the town, and the town now wants the back quarter of the house torn down or a new foundation built. Either way we get put out the door. At least I have a good 3 months to find another decent home.

There used to be huge pigs at Ontario Placer back in the 70's. I was a cook back when HMCS Haida was a cadet training facility. You should have seen the size of the carp rising to eat the leftover toast every morning. We caught a couple of 4 footers on bread balls hanging off the ship's side when we dumped the toast.

I have reached the point that I can only handle about 2 hours of TV drivel a week. I could gladly cancel my TV service without any loss. Only problem is that the Mrs loves mindless drivel.

Do not give up the ship. The Mrs is still doing fine since treatment completed over 2 years back. The brother-in-law is still hanging in despite a number of inoperable tumors. He has now gone 2 Christmases longer than expected. thanks to PMH.

The whole Grand system is neat. I've caught pike in the Speed, Eramosa and Conestogo. I've also caught pike in the Grand at Byng, Cayuga, downtown Cambridge
