This weekend is the annual Innisfest,over here in Innisfil.There's a midway with rides for the kids and booths with all kinds of stuff for sale,and 'THE BEER TENT' with entertainment,But alas with all this going on they close the boat launch.So if anyone was planning to launch there ,you'll have to find an alternative.....,but com'on by, myself and the rest of my Lions club ,will be shuffling beer to the customers.We usually do about $50,000 worth of beer,this weekend and a good time had by most......Hope the weather holds....Come by and say 'HI",I'll be at the beer taps near the stage.........TC and tight lines all.......Chuck......

I built a shed over our ski-doo,which is summered on skids,out of 11/2 PVC and it's holding up fine.....The plumber I got some pipe from said to keep it out of the sun,it'll break down if exposed too long.....Hope it works out for you ....TC and tight lines.........Chuck....

We made it over to JP in about 10 mins. this morning ,but it turned ugly quick...we took one over the bow and I said 'I think it's time'.....It took most of an hour to get back to Innisfil only to find the last 2 boats at the launch were completly swamped while waiting to get plucked......Luckily a guy asked if I would like him to back my truck in for us ,I answered 'SURE', and tossed him my keys as we past the docks....As he backed in ,I drove onto the trailer and we were out unscaved......Wet ,but with whities.....I got my 2 but lady missed a few...TC and tight lines all.......Chuck..........

Nice ride buddy.......I got ambious yesterday and untarped ours and charged the batteries,She's ready for water.....sssssssoooooo anytime you want that race,we'll let the machines speak...wink,wink....lol...TC and tight lines all.......Chuck.....

Got home more than an hour ago ....As usual Shelley got her whities and a trout to boot....I got mine too, but took some time......Shelley had one up before I got my holes clean....Visibility was crappy ,but the GPS got us home without a hitch.....TC and tight lines all.........

We're leaving Innisfil@6:30,heading for Island grove boat ramp,then along Lakeshore Dr. till Salvation Army then back on the lake for 12 km's to "The Spot"......We'll be Chevying it all the way...lol....TC and tight lines all.....Chuck.....

I have it from a good source that 2 pick-ups were seen on the west side of Fox island today and there was a white Denali or Avalanche there on the weekend.....There was almost a foot of ice everywhere I was on saturday,which was right here off the park.....TC and Tight lines,See you's on Saturday......Chuck.....

Hey Beans......I think it was 1 line north ,on the ice at the 9th that I mentioned...That would have been Paulyanna fish huts,but I'm not sure if he's got any this year....I know he's open,so I'll try to find out...........TC and tight lines....Chuck.....

While catching minnow in his trap, a friend of mine caught 3 tiger muskies,about 2 inches long and he had a 125 gallon tank.....He raised them tll almost a foot long.1 died from the ick,and after 1 jumped out of the tank in the middle of the night ,he realeased the last one back to the Holland River from which they came.....He fed them left over minnows from ice fishing,and gold fish when they got bigger......Very cool to watch them feed on the gold fish.......TC and tight lines all.......Chuck......

Charlie White was probably the first guy to put a camera on his trolling lures,he did a show where he put 2 brand new lures behind his boat,1 had nothing on it and the other he would add some kind of scent....He even butted a smoking cigar out on 1 lure,in most cases the scented lure caught fish first,but the one I remember most was the one he dipped in the boats bilge water,with used oil......That one caught the most fish.....It's something in the oil,and used was better than new.....Sorry but I can't remember exactly what it was,but WD-40 has shark oil in it......TC and tight lines....Chuck....

There was one lonely guy out there yesterday,and today on another board a member posted that he was out and found 5"everywhere he went,so I'd have to say it will be a go come this weekend.....If I get out ,I'll post my findings........TC and tight lines.........Chuck....
