  4. 2002 Supercharged Xterra, drinks premium fuel so gas is a little pricey. Tows nice but again LOVES the fuel. Takes a beating on the logging trails during hunting season and has yet to leave me stranded or stuck!!
  5. Thats right , my bad RF
  6. You won't find a reel that takes a beating like the 750 Diawa SS whisker.(ultra light) By no means the smoothest reel when compared to newer units out there, but it takes a beating and still preforms day after day. You either love 'em or hate 'em but that's the one I reach for on my backcountry excursions Stardic 1000 is the backup. RF
  7. And that's what it's all about!!!!! I honestly get more of a thrill watching others hook fish than myself (especially first timers) RF
  8. Except for the COLD hands from all the fish handling LOL.... RF
  9. Just like other posts said, the fish have been on all week. keep a few whitie's and laker and released a bunch more between two of us. Tons of bait fish, isolate the jigging spoon from the bait ball and they were rocketing through the bait clusters to attack the lone spoon. Whitie's and a few lakers were on the Bad boy. Good luck!! RF
  10. Wait for the spring classic, you'll save$$$$$. RF
  11. I'll take that rod over the Frontier ANY DAY!!!! RF
  12. I would say that 75% of the staff in there have other careers ie Police officers, Firefighters, Teachers, Business owners... and are not "low income earners" lol. They work there because the love the sport, (deals don't hurt either) . Not sure about you but when I go into a retail store I sure don't look at the workers as low income earners, I don't know what their financial statements read. Holding one of the fore mentioned careers and then being exposed to retail/customer service during my 2 year part time stint in the BPS fishing dept was a huge eye opener for this guy/ low income earner LOL... oh the story's LOL... What happened to you Marcus is lousy and you should say something! But for the most part the staff in there know their stuff, off course there is always exceptions in any workplace. GCD what knowledge can you gain by not asking questions of a sales employee that knows the product and has likely field tested it? Listen to what others have to say and then form your own opinion, you would be surprised what you can learn. RF
  13. Thank god for fire and EMS
  14. Fish, fish, and fish...LOL Always fish around, slush is a pain but worth it on some days. Here's a few of the fish we hooked into today. Froze out there but managed fish Good luck

  19. That sucks!!! Happening all to much as of late!!! Someone was poking around my truck at the Notty the other day!!! The big guy was resting in the back seats and went mental, you could hear the commotion from the river. Sure enough fresh tracks in the mud leading right to the rear of the truck. what a mess that would off been. RF

  22. HAhahaha, Ya I guess it could be worse LOL...
  23. With the stellar weather I had to ditch all yard work and head out fishing for a few hours. Lost count of how many 2-3 lb fish that were caught, for a while you would get one almost every drift. Lots of fun but repetitive after awhile as well as costly on the roe bank. Lost two large fish (main line snaps) so its time to get rid of the vintage ironsilk line. Just a reminder that its deer season so if your fishing any tribs north Orange is not a bad idea!!! I ran into a few groups pushing the bush for deer, needless to say after meeting them I stuck close to the river and out of the woods LOL..
