  13. Yep tough to keep them locked up, 160 lb OMG, my Corso's only about 125lb. He is getting older now so when fishing he just enjoys sitting and watching everything, a welcome change from the Boxers antics. RF
  14. Like the last pic. and Yep it was a great season on the ice!!
  15. With the stellar day I had to head out for some more steel!!! Tribs are still on the high side and cold from the melt. Slow start in the morning but it soon picked up in the afternoon, caught good numbers but have to retrain my partner in the finer points of landing fish and not breaking lines with paws, grabbing at floats , chasing floats, eating roe, stepping on rods and at the very least not trying to help others land their fish. LOL... But its always a blast for him when he gets out (thank god I did not bring the Cane Corso also) RF
  16. Depends on the water, pool, current, depth ect... ya get the point LOL Bulk shot the fast deep stuff Thats kinda like your option 1. Taper weights from heaviest to lightest shot in Med flowing average depth areas Heaviest to lightest should put your bait in front of your float. As a rule of thumb remember the water most times is moving slower closer to the bottom and faster on top, so like you said you have to try and slow the bait down a bit. Different for every river and hole though. Most my luck comes with your #1 set up. RF
  17. Pack is OK, it does get in the way a little although I 'll take it any day over my vest. Most days if I can get away with it I 'll just use a waist pack, lighter the better but it all depends on the region your fishing I guess. RF
  18. LOL, Roger thats one of our BPS co-workers horsing around, he has hair like girl though!! RY
  19. Keep it up and I'll post the directions to your home water. With pics LOL... Check your email RF
  20. Yep, Guys and gals get a little touchy if its their home creek and hoards of people flock to it due to a post on migratory bow's. Here today gone tomorrow kinda fish, at least at this time of year given the allowable fishing zones. RF

  22. Blew right by you guys in the parking lot of the first muddy Trib , did not put the faces together until I saw your post LOL.. Glad to see ya caught em!!! RF
  23. First I better excuse myself, I think I may have blown right by ya C.C an Bly at a certain Muddy trib before I hastily went back to my truck and off to find fishable water. I should have introduced myself LOL....Just realized when I saw your post. Anyways, Finally found some water worth drifting (lots of fuel later) and caught a mixed bag of fish, Could not get them to touch anything but roe. Lost more than were landed due to the heavy lumber factor in the creek but the lumber is where the Brown was hidden! Heres a few shots of a couple of fish from today. RF
  24. Great way to spend a weekend!!! I bet the guys in the tin boat at the mouth of the beaver beat em up good!!! RF
  25. Managed a few barracuda and some sort of rock fish as well as squid(they were a treat to get off the hook) Did the charter thing for a few days but I was perfectly content casting from shore a few hours every morning. God forbid you release anything you catch though, the locals will let you know who to give it to LOL... RF
