  1. Hey Brandon, Sorry I missed this earlier. I wish I had the chance to vote. Maybe next year! My youngest daughter just started her photography classes at Humber this year. It's a great hobby or career. Keep up the good work!
  2. So sorry to hear of your loss Joey. I have not been able to be on here much lately and only read this tonight. Take care. Brian
  3. My secondary prize from WFN arrived yesterday by FedEx! I received a $250.00 gift card for Bass Pro Shops. Just wanted to thank all the good folks on here and a few in particular that went way and beyond to help me stay in the top ten (actually 3rd) right up until the end. Thanks again everyone!
  4. Beautiful Randy! Good job on the fishing and the filming!
  5. Thanks for sharing that with us Mike! Nice memory and a real nice job on the keepsake! Hope things keep improving for your Dad.
  6. That is a beauti Bass right there! Thanks for sharing and a great report of the catch as well!
  7. Wayne, So sorry to hear of your loss again for the second time this summer. Man, you hang in there. I know it must be tough. You have my deepest condolences. Brian
  8. My choice would be Jeff Brain. He is on Hwy 11, just South of Orillia. He does excellent work, is reasonable in price, and gets the job done quickly. * Jeff Brain (Brain's Taxidermy) R.R. #1 Orillia, Ontario L3V 6H1 705-327-7889 E-Mail: [email protected] Will Teach Taxidermy I will admit that Advanced is probably the best of the best, but Jeff is a very close second and is a lot less expensive.
  9. I wear mine whenever the boat is moving under power or if wind/water conditions warrant it. I do take it off when I am fishing though. These same rules go for whoever is in the boat with me.
  10. Nice going Steve and Kelli! sounds like a good day out and a nice finish as well. Nice toad Largemouth as well!
  11. Hutch, I have not been there for quite a few years, but we used to do very well there for Pike, Bass, and Walleye. I always fished out of Stoneburg Cove camp.
  12. Nice to have such clear water to film in. Perch are my wife's favourite fish! Thanks for putting that together Terry.
  13. Sorry, glitch caused a double post!
  14. Very nice! The amount of thought and work that went into that cake shows just how much you mean to her. Congratulations!
  15. white ones! LOL I like the blades on Nichols and BPS Lazers are good. BooYah's are plentiful and run decent, but don't last. I'm too cheap to buy titanium wire baits. I also prefer willow leaf blades over colorado style
  16. Those are some awesome fish! What were you guys using for lures/bait?
  17. Good stuff! You make a fine Grandpappy Brian!
  18. Fantastic news Curt! So glad to read this today!
  19. Oh man, here we go again! I'm glad that they are stepping up their testing and trying to be proactive with their recalls, but it is getting to be a bit on the ridiculous side when it comes to Maple Leaf and their brands. Talk about losing the battle to win back consumer confidence in their meats!
  20. Sorry to hear of your property damages there Cliff. Glad to hear that you are both ok. Did this blow through tonight?
  21. Pretty cool! I have an Aquavu, but no colour and can't get a recording. Well, I have not tried yet either! LOL
  22. Curt Somehow I missed this first time around back in July. Little Jacob will be in my thoughts today. He is in good hands and we wish him a speedy recovery. Take care, Brian
  23. Oh man, I would run from anything like that unless I knew the person! "just needs a tune-up" could mean anything from something minor to no compression! Small motors need compression in order to make fuel flow. for example. I know, I was fooled once by the later on an old Johnson 10 HP. Even running it in a drum is risky. If you can't open her up, you still won't know. Be very careful!
  24. Great info Will! Thanks for coming on here and spreading the word. keep up the good work!
  25. Very Nice! The colours look a little different than the ones I see around here. Nice contrast.
