When I lived in Australia I caught a lobster in a river (maybe it was a huge crayfish) I hae a picture of it somewhere I caught several knot eels (these things tie themselves in a knot when you bring them onboard.. really weird!) I caught a 7-8ft marlin on a 5 inch frozen pilchard. I obvioulsly did not land it on my 7ft medium action spinning rod rigged with 12 pound test. I also caught a duck. That was a good fight as it went airborn. The duck atually broke me off so I never landed it. My buddy also hooked a Merganser while fishing topwater at night. Crazy fight but I managed to get the hook free.

there are many species of fish in and around the mouth of the river. I have caught the usual salmon and trout but also walleye, pike and huge catfish. There are also sturgeon around but they are never in season. All these fish were caught the same day within a couple of hundred of meters from each other.

You still have to pay taxes on the boat. It took them almost 3 years to send me a tax bill for my boat. The trailer tax is immediate. I think Rob is itemizing so that when the time comes to pay tax on the boat he will save.

5:30 pm Sunday June 9th. I found a rod and reel on the road. Must have blown out of a boat. If you can tell me exactly what kind of rod and reel it is, you can come collect it. It was found in Barrie.

LOL Rob. Those are one of a kind custom Oakleys. Chrome white (they only made one batch and I had to wait over 8 months for them). with yellow emblem and yellow stem sleeves. Now generally white glasses are for DBs but the polarised lens in these are the best I have ever fished so they are my fishing glasses. (They are also custom etched on the lens with 'Keeping it real') Might have to remember to take them off next time before pic is taken.

Went out fishing Saturday and caught this. It is a new PB pike. The pic does not do it justice as it was super thick and had a belly full of something. Sorry about the hold so far up on the gill plate. I am not used to holding these big pike. Will do a better job next time. I put her back in the water very quickly and she swam away immediately so everything was good.

I ran a marathon last year, Ran Tough mudder, warrior dash and a bunch of 5 kms. I usually run with my wife so it makes things easy. Ran onn Wednesday evening fun run in Barrie and paced my wife to a 25.40 which she is happy with. I would be happier with a 20 but I have had ankle and sciatica issues lately. Will run 1/2 on June 15th. I actually don't like running at all.

gas mileage is always a lie. Somehow they come up with those stupid number driving 70 kmh in 8th gear on a brand new paved road with a slight decline and a tailwind. I own a 2012 hyundai elantra and it never lived up to its fuel economy claims so they pay me the difference every year. Last year they gave me $94. Your engine is v6 as Bill said. It is found in almost every vehicle Chrysler sells from the avenger, to the challenger, charger, grand cherokee, wrangler, minivan etc. Nice vehicle

I have an area to get worms beside my house and tonight I went out to get a couple. In a 10 square foot area I counted over 30 big crawlers. I took about 10. If you need crawlers now is the time to get them. They are mating and there are hundreds available. PM me if you live in Barrie and need some. I can let you know where they are (they are probably in any field but this spot I know is crazy thick with them)
