Not a fan of Aikmens at all. My sister lives next door to the guy in charge of Pure fishing in Canada but he lives in Portage La Prairie MB so it is not the same guy you are dealing with. I can get his number if you want. Pure fishing used to be based in Portage but have since moved but he still lives there.

I was there tonight and they had 2 9035s left and a guy beside me was buying one. I too resisted temptation and would have bought if the 9030 was there. I asked about more coming in and they said maybe, no guarantee that stocks will be replaced as they are last year's model. I did however pick up a nice new carbonlite rod for $69 and a pair of waterproof boots rated for -100 degrees F. Not sure it they will be that warm but they are waterproof which is a step up from my current pair.

Damn last year's pflueger supreme xt with magnesium body is on sale at bps for $69.88. That would be a great real.

I will watch all fishing shows. I don't care. I do like some more than others. I love the PTTS series. Dave is the best fishing host for sure. Real fishing is great because Bob is the man. Any saltwater fishing shows are great. George Palmerano catches big fish. Linders are great. I even like those crazy Aussie shows where they randomly catch weird fish.

Not sure if this was posted here but check this out. Read the story. What a wonderful father! You may be forgiven for thinking that any man would look proud after catching a large barracuda as he poses with the fish and his 14 year-old daughter at the marina afterwards. Then you may wonder why his daughter looks less than thrilled. 14 year old Coral Wira was sitting in a boat while her father fished. Suddenly she saw a silver flash in the air. The barracuda had thrown the hook and grabbed her arm. Father managed to kill the fish with a knife in the head. But Coral, needed 51 stitches. And he felt the need to pose for photos before taking her to hospital!

I predict Barrie North Beats Barrie Central for the GBSSA title after already beating them earlier in the season, ending Central's 4 year unbeaten streak. Oh wait that already happened didn't it Rob. lol. Just like you I too don't really care who win but want to see a great game. I have been following both teams closely this year and actually hoped for this matchup in the Superbowl. I had Aaron Rogers as my fantasy QB and he delivered this season. I love Steelers Defense though led by 92 and 43!!! Either way I expect some pretty great plays on D from both teams.

There were lots of atvs out today but they all looked to be 4wd. There is some pretty thick stuff out there I saw a few quads bog down a bit but nothing they couldn't power out of. A guy in an older grand cherokee got stuck for about 2 hours but there were about 4 SUVs out there as well. It is soft in places dues to slush on snow but the ice thickness is very good (not great quality ice but lots of thickness). Hope that helps a bit. For those walking it is not too bad. Stay on the sled tracks and it is fine.
