Think I,ll go out on Simcoe,and get a drift on Fox island. Im sure after those many months,i,ll look like a fat ass still after those many months missing. Ceder wine and perch, should hold me over.LOL

When your drilling,are you in low or high? ? You want to be on low for slow turn and torqe.Dont push on the augar. Let it cut with just the weight of the drill. I have found with the thicker ice,you need to drill,lift,drill lift. And watch out for yer know what with that wood piece.LOL

This time of year,it,s not hard to find moose and deer at the side of the road. It,s do to the salt thats being spread. They will come out and lick the road/snow due to the salt.

Ya I have had my XP for 2 years now. The battery will not hold a charge well now. I have used it alot though..

Can I ask why,they are fin clipping these days? We still get lakers and whities here that are clipped. That tells they are not naturals. But from what I have read,there is no longer fin clipping on Simcoe fish. If my day is open,I would love to drive up and help.It would be new to me.

Burt My cordless drill set up,cut 15 holes with one battery. Ice is 18 inches thick where I was. Just saying.

I dont fish there til after march 15th.. I would bet theres got to be 20+ inches of ice on it now.. I was on 18" where I fished Simcoe this morning.
