I use my motor mostly to get out to the main spot. The real reason for the electric is to get off quicker if need be . I will row when I need to move a 100 ft or so. My float boat is very stealth as I found out. There was just a light breeze on Sunday. The water was still calm and I was drifting .4-.5 MPH . It drove me nuts, as I was not marking my bait as the line was out from the range. My motor is 30lb. Speed 1,I was getting 1.5-2 MPH. Speed 5,it was up to 5 mph. This is on glass waters. This is an older motor and I know it draws . New one out of the box is on the list. My boat loaded as in the pics I posted,still did not touch the bottom in 3" of water. I love this thing.

Ah look,another float boat member . Looking good . Interesting electric motor . I was lucky to get a sealed 50AH battery. It,s perfect . What did you use to cover the floor ? Looks like something that will hold water and become very heavy.

What great people to deal with . With all this covid crap going on,they are swamped with orders . They have even asked that you send an email to make sure what you want ,gets through to them. I got my order today and I am set up for making all my balanced trout flys for a while now. Their prices are awesome. 600 #2 and #3 ( 1-1/2 - 1-5/8 ) 90deg black nickle and red hooks, for just over $50 and another 400 #4/#6 trout hooks for $35. I was paying $4 for just 10 hooks per pack . These are going to be my high hook baits for winter whities and perch . Got orders coming in for them already . $12 for shipping. Hook quality seems to very good as well. Nice strong hooks . My son and his buddy's, will be happy that I will have their fall supply ready on time for them .

Just amazing how my mudder felt when I took her for a ride in mine. LOL. She did take off her glasses before blasting off.LOL She loved it. She always enjoyed the craziest and fasted rides at the amusement parks.

The hatch started around 9. It was fast and furious. Shinners were picking them off the surface. I watched as the hatch was laying on the surface, then take off,That was cool . I would love to do that,but need to have a lift back up the riv to the truck . I had 2 x tra large this morning too. Pissed like a race horse all morning.LOL

No sir,no way bub,no boat launch for tis bye. Just make a float boat trailer and off I go. It even goes where I go . LOL New free battery was sweet, but I know the old motor draws,so,new one on the list. Thanks for the treads Fisherman . No fish,but what a sun rise.
