    Good point Paul When I fished weeds or pads, I would thread the hook through the worm til the last inch or so, then sink the barb in the worm. Not through it, just enough to make sure It wasnt going to hook up on weeds. Just a pic of what Im talking about. It,s very effective.

    Another stupid fuel saving trip today. It,s mind boggling what I am getting out of this truck.1/4 tank, to Owen Sound and back with a detour to Creemore to see my brother. Even he was like,, WHAT .

      Bah, just did a round trip to Temiscamingue, 760km on 98litres towing a cargo trailer with ATV and a pile of camping stuff.

    Was up there this morning. Left lew time. Arrived to be greeted with an hour and a half down pour rain off and on. Fishing was great. NOT Anyhoo, this thing had me mift. Looks like a sub of some sort.

    15 bucks for a sheet of Lexan??????? Im not doughting you, but that sure is cheap. Are the sheets still covered with the thin film ? Dose it say lexan? Lexan is pretty flexable as plex glass is stiff. Make sure your getting what you are told. As for making them, they look pretty straight forward to make. Using lexan, you can bend it on a break press. Thats another nice thing about using it.

      I would, if you're fishing the rivers, you could make a detour through the upper stretches of the bighead, otherwise the sound would be your best bet and a few rivers to choose from if you don't want crowds.

    G There has been for some reason, a lot of boats anchoring this summer out in the bay. There,s not much description of what happen. Like you said, it gets dark fast now. Maybe someone forgot to put their lights on. Wont know until they are done the investigation. Why they took off, who knows as well. To many things it could of been.

    I did what paul suggested with the avenger joe. From 18 to 17 for winter tires. Rims and tires cost me 1200. Got two seasons out of them and sold the set of four for $600 after I bought the truck. You just need to make sure you have clearance for the calipers when you down size.

    Your waiting and Im done eating.LOL Blade steaks were marked down. Grabbed one for tonights dinner. I dont big meals during the week, but for 7 bucks and having time to do, I made it happen. Potatoe salad, ceasers salad and beef. It wasnt as red as it looks or it would of been back on. Cooked 3 hours @ 275.
