misfish

So I found what I need on Amazon, but they dont ship to Canada. Why is that? And here I am looking at the Canadian web site.

Thanks fellas. Thats the first time I have tried for lakers since bass season opened up. Our laker fishing seem to be in a funk, so stayed away from them. Like I said, It happened to be a good weather report for this type of fishing, and the row out easy. Rick, I can row that float boat faster then most think. As far as distance, it,s not far at all. I have done 7 miles in a days outing. As for a hat Ralph, on over cast days, I dont, but do have a wide brim in the truck at all times when the suns going to be beating on me. The shades never leave me. My eye will not allow me to be without them. The glare off the water is the worse when it,s sunny. Thanks again fells. The toons a blast.

Like I figured, you tube had my answer. LOL

The last 4 years, I have always thought my mustang vest was manual inflate,as there was a rip cord that said, PULL. Well this morning I found out different. I had lifted the toon to move it around, and the vest fell off the seat, into the water. Next thing I know,it,s blowing up. LOL I thought maybe the rip cord caught on something and pulled out. Once I read the replacement read on the jacket, it said AUTO INFLATE VEST. So it seems I need a new cartridge. I do not know where to buy them, or is there an easy way to remove the clip on them and just get a co 2 pellet gun cartridge to make it work. Also the nob thingy that unscrews on the unit, is that a sensitivity thing? The vest just touch the water with it,s own weight and activated. The positive of this whole thing is, I now know if I happen to slip into the water, it will activate and keep me afloat. Thanks for any help . Off to you tube to see what I can find out.

With the weather report saying light to no wind, and rain coming sooner then later, I decided to give the lakers a try and give the bass fishing a pass today. Once I got out to the depths, I started jigging with a pike swim bait. Yes, a pike swim bait. I just trimmed it down to laker size. If there is such a thing. I marked some fish early, a few chasers. This was a positive and kept me interested. Then I started marking more and more. OPTIMISTIC I became. The one bait color had them interested, but not taking. So I switched up to another that seemed to look more like a large smelt, maybe a herring. Maybe it,s just me, but it did look like one. I sure got excited for an ole bye.

The real shame is, that we share our adventures, trials and tribulations of a fishing episode. It for the most of us, is to share and hope each and everyone, will enjoy our outings. Why do others need to know the wheres? Why, can you just not read or watch the great adventure from those that have put the time in? I do not get the law thing here, or do I understand what it means. This is another mess the WWW has created and become. I am not a FB fan, nor a member. Im sure these fishing sites are of no difference, but not the same following numbers as FB. You tube is no different. Yes I post on said site, but I post not to be a bused, or to be asked where, but to share my fishing delight. If I were to come across what Mike has, I would stop posting. I am no Mike Borger, I am but a spit of what he has done. I goof around with my reports,they are minuscule,but no matter, a post of fishing, no scratch that, a post of any means, dose not give the right of anyone, to ask, or , demand, info of the said report. I know from reading many reports, Mike has helped many people, yet he gets this slap in the face. Someone is trying to pull strings here. I hope that someone loops a string on this persons balls and pulls it so tight, his balls turn blue and purple, then fall off like a unwanted mole. With that said We are our own worst enemy in this WWW. Sad ,as it may be, it is true, and very SAD. Win this one for the future Mike

Small mouth were always kept for eats during our camping years as young fellas. Firmer meat. I use to keep a few 2 pounders for my pop. We never ate a LM bass, so have no opinion on this. Been some years since I have eaten a bass. These days, just a fun C&R fish for me. In no way am I preaching. To each their own. It has been sometime though, so maybe this fall once the water cools down, I will treat my pop to a few 2 pounders. After all, they are there to catch and eat.

Nice fish This is a legit 4.5 that I thought was a nickle+. Til I put the scale to it. I think the over size bellies on these fish make them look much bigger. IMO

I have a stack of plano boxes. When I know what I am going for, I just put them in a flip lid cooler. It holds 4 boxes, 2 batterys for the finder, 2 frozen bottles of water and lunch. Just grab my rods and cooler when I leave the crib. When I get to my local, I just pick the ones I want, put them in my toon pouch. I still have my old Plano carrying bag. The only one I ever bought 20 YAG. I use it for when I am walking to shore fishing areas. I also use a back pack when fishing the tribs. Plano and go.
