  3. Not when you have, inside friends. Like the owner.
  4. LOL As a guy that works with tools all day, I dont have anything here that will allow me to remove all the fittings, OR I WOULD. LOL I tried this hot water thing. As you can see, I did not see a line. I did how ever, get a wet foot. LOL As for the noodles, they look marvelous . Nice summer salad. Now to get busy preparing my spicy coriander chicken. Like the saying. Adapt, improvise, over come. I wish I had a charcoal BBQ right about now. LOL Thanks again fellas I envy HH right now. He has a nice new BBQ. I now feel his old pain.
  5. It,s funny you mention this. My first comment was man, this tank feels heavier then my normal fill from CTC. I am boiling noodles right now, I will try what you said FF, when they need draining. As for dinner, I can adapt to still serve a great dinner. Thanks all for the quick responses. Thanks fellas B
  6. Yup, I tried another tank. Same issue. There seems to be back pressure. Regulator, I mean BBQ is done. Shhhhhhhhhhh I wanted a new one any ways. Wife looks over shoulder as I type. LOL I will get a deal at my local HH.
  7. Well I did as suggested. It was good for about a minute or so then the regulator started to frost up. Guess it,s new BBQ time. It,s not a high end one, so not a big lose.
  8. Thanks Tom. I was thinking this. Letting it sit in the sun abit right now. Sure was busy there. Lined up.
  9. Just back from Costco. WOW only 8 bucks to fill the tank instead of 18 at ctc. Anyhoo, I hook up the tank, BBQ fires up then the flames dwindle. Like it,s running out of gas. The thingamabob that hooks up to the tank is really cold. Frosting. BBQ is fine. Used it last night, worked normal. HELP Thanks
  10. That would of been an expensive lose bud. I once drove from Barrie to Gravenhurst for a bass tourny. My ignition key and tong lock key ,were still on the bumper when I got there. Thats someone watching out for me there. While jigging this morning, I hooked onto a old suction cup transducer with 20 ft of cable. LOL Lost one small laker. 2 ft rollers were fun to hold a straight line down.
  11. Why should this morning be any different. As I always do, I park and get the toon ready for my mornings fish. Load up the rods in the holders and Im off. This morning I had added a new pole with the Canadian flag again. Even knowing I might have an issue, I paid no never mind ,and went on my way. Stop get my coffees and all is good in the back. Still, I see an issue that could happen, but , paid no never mind. Head up Anne st, as I needed to get fuel first. Fuel up, check the toon again and alls good. Still, I paid no never mind, to the issue, I thought I would have. So away I go, heading to my fishing location. Driving at 65 km down the road, on a 60 km road, I have this car behind me flashing his lights at me. Ok , maybe this person is in a hurry. So pull off the road a bit, and wave them bye, to pass me. Nope, stays behind me . Ok, maybe there,s something wrong. So I pull off the road completely. So does the car behind me. Ok now Im wondering, WTH. I get out. I ask, whats up dude ? And heres where the , paid no never mind , issue comes to life. You see, I had my Williams spoon on one of the rods. You know, the spoon with the side hooks. With the flag flapping very close to said rod, I kinda figured it might catch that spoon, but I , paid no never mind. Well, it did get hooked in the flag. The flag actually pulled the rod out of the holder. Buddy said the rod was flying in the air, as I was driving. I said thanks for flagging me down. I am sitting here typing as an idiot, but also laughing at my , paid no never mind. I have no problem laughing at myself. I learned another lesson. I hope it helps someone out there, but I dont see too many toon carrying RAM trucks, with a rod loaded with a ice fishing williams, next to a Canadian flag. As for the fishing , I hate the north shores of KBAY. The surface current and lower current, are crazy. My toon went east, the bait went west. I did have a few chases, but no hook ups. Till my next misadventure toon report. Tight lines. Edit to add Before you all start your, it could of been worse, like the rod hitting the car behind me, lesson learned about pre loading the rods.
  12. I dont care about the musky, but would like to know about this KNOCK OFF comment. LOL They are GENUINE . LMAO Hey Lew, Great pic bud.
  13. LOL Stay home. LOL Last Sunday I was floating on 2 ft rollers. Not a boat to be seen. The whole bay to meself. Not a better feeling. LOL Failed to mention, cant wait to try my new camera swivel extension.
  14. Thanks Drew. A belly boat would be great too. Just lots of flipping to get out there. The oars help. Im glad I was able to have you take a few minutes of your day to watch TY. My fuel is, get through my weeks (40 hr) work and enjoy my weekends. Enjoy life, and enjoying the sport I love. A couple of x-large cups of java in the morning dosent hurt, One for the drive, and one for on the toon . Those give me the HP I need in the legs to get me out there. Like I have said before, fishing from the toon, I need to watch the weather . High winds more then anything. Tomorrow it,s calling for NNE 6 km. I have picked another laker ground to jig. Shoreline protection is the key. I arrive to my spots early enough , to see if the waters are fit for floating and to jig effectively. If I think it,s not, I have enough options in my area to head to with,n 20-30 minutes drive. I am always ready to fish for what ever waters offered up to fish. Stay tooned, for the next adventure.
  15. Ya, I can post pics on another site with out resizing or even using a host. I do, your one smart newf. LOL
  16. Sweet report dude. Really like this pic. CLASSIC
  17. Dont get me wrong. I too, like to see release, selected harvest.
  18. Just imagine if we had this kinda sharing of pics back when we were kids. Not one, but two stringers of smallies hanging off the boat. Father, grandfather, uncle, and 3 sons and a daughter . LOL With in the limit, alls good here.
  19. Thanks again It,s not the tooners I worry about, it,s the dozen or so yakers that come out . They are a great bunch of fellas. Lots of room out there for all of us. I,ll be contemplating going to a yak next year. It will have stabilizers that is for sure.
  20. While I found one. Looking around on line for the hell of it. Terry found them at CTC Clearance. So Barrie south says one in stock. I go and there is none. It said in stock at 7pm I was there 7:10 pm. No way it was gone by then. So I ask if they can get more. Their reply, that was the last one a year ago. WHAT Im pissed now. Why advertise in stock when not. They look and Aliston local has 2. I call. Yes sir we have 2. Can you please hold til I get there around 4 pm today. Yes sir. Just give me your name. Awesome. Arrive. Give lady my name, tell her what I am picking up. Nothing there waiting. I sense an angry mini me coming. One lady over hears what I am looking for. She was the one I talked too. Here you go sir. Oh look, they had 2. I complete, 1 missing the bobbin. So I leave with one unit for 20 bucks. Still a great deal. I am now back in the green. I also got a surprise this morning from a co-worker. Went outside at break time and found a brand new PFD on the back of my truck. He said he didn't need it, and didn't want me to miss a days fishing. LOL The other awesome thing he said was, it matches your toon. Blue. LOL
