  1. Yeah I don't see any slime coming off it.
  2. I was taking picture out doors in -23 temps for about 1/2hr and I had the flash off. The batteries die after 15minutes or so because of the cold and the camera shut down. I stuck the batteries into my pockets and pulled out a warm set and newly charged and it worked fine15 mins later that died too. Got all the pics I needed and headed indoors. Went indoors and took the camera out of my pocket and sure enough the lens fogged up with condensation. The place I was taking pic indoors was heated. Took a soft clean tissue and gently whipped the lens off of its moisture and fogged up again but with less condensation. Before you could see the droplets forming on the lens. But I still had to wait for the lens to warm up. Took like 5-10 mins to warm up before it stopped fogging and was good to go again. So now I take with me tissue tht hasn't been folded or crumbled manytimes. Cause the more the tissue is folded the more the fibres of the tissue break apart and create more dust when you whip the lens. So I try to keep it straight as possible. And only whip the lens once or twice on a single area of the tissue then change to a clean surface or the tissue will create dust on the lens. dsn

  19. I was wondering for those folks who fish in a hut. How do you fix your transducer or wedge it against the huts floor opening with out the thing falling into the water. I usually just bring a coat hanger and stick the transducer through that and then wedge it against the wood half in the water half out and that works but I have lost many hangers cause of that. Or I can't seem to keep the same hanger through out the each ice season. The transducer I have has the suction cup on it but thats useless on ice let alone wood. Thanks for any suggestions. If no one has any better ideas I gues I'll have to go back and use the old coat hanger thingy again. Thanks for any suggestions. dsn

Yep I have heard it works for chumming for white fish. I was talking to a hut operator he said some folks used corn (yep the corn story) to chum the bottom for white fish. And they don't recommend it cause they said it was hard for white fish to digest it. So they recommend boiled maccaroni or barley and they said it works. Ahh I tried it but nothing happened. This was last year. dsn
  24. That really sucks SlowPoke. Just as the hardwater season is beginng too. I got you covered here in Toronto. I guess The theives are startin up. Every winter season seems to be a time of criminal activities. ATV's , Ice Huts, etc. I hear about them all the time from message boards. Its time to bobi-trap everything you own!! I hope you get it back slowpoke. dsn
  25. I've never fished it but someone might be able to help you here for sure. dsn
