  9. im on the road alot and i need good protection for my eyes......ive had cheaper pairs but for some reason they dont perform as well as the more expensive ones i have a pair of serngetti's for driving...reddish colour...for some reason i love that tint and for fishing i use my maui jim's...also a reddish tinge...they work great
  10. hey guys.....need a little advice....im building a water fall feature in my back yard...and i wanna add a little fire.....i was gonna incorporate a small pond in the front, but last week i saw the coolest thing in one of my custormers homes.....a huge brass collander with a gorgeous flame comin thru it with river rocks on top....so was thinking the same scenario...in front of my rock wall i have a 2ft span where the original pond was supposed to be .....but now i wanna put a stainless steel pipe in it, covered by river rock with a very lazy flame...... does anyone know where i could find the componets to build this...what diameter would an 16ft stainless steel line have to be without losing pressure from the first hole to the last hole...im planning on a lazy flame maybe 6in tall to go across the front of the rock wall... any help would be greatly appreciated
  11. i had that happen to me in cooks bay......by an opp cruiser goin full tilt....had to go over and help a dad and son in a small tinny......i hate when that happens!!!!!
  12. last year we literally saw hundreds in south gorgian bay......always in groups of 6 to bout 10.....would follow our lures to the boat but never taken....this year tho havent seen any in the same area
  13. i have the i-pilot on my riptide....and i couldnt be happier....the best feature i like is the anchor mode....it could be very windy...hit that button and the boat stays withing 5 ft of that point.....ive recorded tracks and replayed them....amazing...do you really need it???....no...but toys are fun!!!!

  17. before i bought my boat i laid out a floor plan right in the garage....it fits on an angle with bout 4 inches to spare...i have a single door double garage....my boat is a 1900 pro v with a fold away tounge...its just a pita to get the right angle when storing it....has to be pushed by hand....i think my next boat will be a 17' ft'er....ive been looking at the 1750 tyee...what a sweet looking boat...oh and by the way check the height....i have to take my windsheild off when i park it...grrrrrrr
  18. saying i was told once....dont know if its true ......but....'winds from the east.. fishing is least....winds from the west..fishing is best

  22. i have a 19' ft lund and used to tow it with my montana....what a huge mistake....problem isnt the towing to and from the water....but launching...front wheel drive dont do well on launches!!!....your trailer tounge will be pushing down on the back of the van lifting the front end of the mini van....if its slippery on the launch....GOOD LUCK!!!...something your might wanna consider...
  23. for a few bucks its worth the safety.....i had a blowout last bass opener on the 401 commin back from rice lake......scared the hell out of me....i hope no one ever experiences a blowout at 120km.....for some reason at that point in time the two lanes on either side of me were void of cars...my trailer ran into the left then to the right.....happened so fast...anyways got her under control...changed the tire on the side of the road....next day went to buy two brand new tires.... the tires looked fine to me but as some have said they were bout 5 years old.....and one just blew up..... change them!!
