  1. So I found a cord in the garage that is labeled outdoor use and 13 AMP. Think I'll be fine here?
  2. spud bar for testing ice as you walk along.
  3. More of a lazy spot. By that I mean you drive up to it and walk 6' and try your luck. All the salt, sand and other garbage off the 401 and near by drains into there so the ice there is never ever safe also
  4. Best post of the day...
  5. I do and going to msg my buddy for a set for free I hope! I wonder if he will deliver too...
  6. Yeah, some are a crazy cost! But if I pop a breaker then I know something has gone bunk and I need to review it. That I knew and my fear was that the plug would do more then just pop and or burn the cord up. Thank you all for the info. I had to remind myself, 10 G is thicker wire then 12 G whereas #4 mono is thicker then #2...
  7. I sort of have been following this on FB and yeah its a whole lot of crazy. Did the company poster do wrong by saying all? Yes. Had he said all persons asked to never or not return due to what ever reason *as Terry said drunk and personally banned from said company* a whole different topic. "White bucket" YES it has a stigma to Asian people BUT when I go ice fishing I use one to keep my stuff safe. True 100% that most hear that and or read it and think Asain. Sad but true. Some places in the world do have a catch and keep mentality no matter the size due to culture and this is why the Reg's are not printed in more than just English. Education! Rick started this as a warning and from the looks of it, it's turned a bit into a let's take him down a peg type of post... Sorry but if this was about a gas station selling you gas with 10% water in it I think it never would have gone this way. AKRISONER made a very great post in this thread too... Just saying...
  8. In the past I had them stop in too
  9. Be safe out there folks as the roads in Lindsay are full out sheets of ice, I hope they are better where you are!

  10. some times it's better off to go back to point of purchase and see if they can provide better support/service? Example, an exchange if they have the same unit in stock and they send back the bad for a full credit? Might be a better option some times and worth a try... I too have been in that location with no plans to go back...
  11. Thanks and msg sent to them. Roads today are crazy bad so I'm NOT heading back out today...
  12. Most that I can find online at the "big guys stores" are 12 G so 13 AMP but as long as I don't burn out the unit or the cord I'll see if I can find me a 100' 10 or 12G one to be safe and not go down to a 14g at all. Cheers JB and Art!
  13. Not a member there and I was going to guess a 10G was a 15 AMP based on Art's reply. As long as I get an "outdoor" use one I should be good then?
  14. BAAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA
  15. Shh, not in public... HAHAHAHAHAHA
  16. This is how I read it...
  17. My ex got me these years ago and I have never had an issue with these. She got them at a walmart I'm sure... https://www.amazon.com/Celsius-Sure-Grip-Cleats-Easy-Spikes/dp/B000ZKSW78
  18. Thank you and I was not aware of that.
  19. Hey all. So I'm getting a new toy based on Cliff checking out my snowblower and it's an electric unit that is a 15 amp model. Where is the best place to get the proper extension cord at a good price? Thanks in advance. G
  20. Dude that's just nut's what you get to fish!

That's a heck of a nice fish man!
  22. Nice, at least you got to get out! Me, not sure when I'll even have a chance to hit the ice anytime soon around here... *sigh*
  23. very nice!
  24. I had a 301 and it was great for mid size baits but not the bigger baits like double 10's
