Spiderwire Stealth in 20LB is a great line. *edit to add* not the camo braid (it's not that great, barely good) but the moss green

I wasted a LOT of $ on low cost reels because I thought it was a good deal and that it would perform well. Saddly, I was mistaken... I spent enough on low cost reels to buy 2 or 3 curado's and now I do have a curado and it casts very, very well. save you cash and buy a good one used or wait for a sale.

the fireline crystal is the worst line I have used! It's like trying to cast with dental floss... spiderwire on the other hand is a great line. the green moss keeps its colour a lot longer then other lines too.

congrats! I too can tell the way you wrote that, that it must have been a great fish and an adventure being solo (I was there not too long ago ). The memory still runs through my mind of my biggest fish so I'm sure yours will too all the time...

skinny, you need to tell us what you are seeing and doing rather then telling us what your brother thinks is going on. If I'm going to smoke anything I plan to waste the day doing it so it's done right. I made a wood box smoker before and it took forever to get hot and do the job. But keep the wood chips as close to the flame/heat as you can for it to make smoke.
