  2. He doesn't use the multi quote option, that's why. OK Ron, here goes. At some point you will end up with all of this (minus the bottom case) to chase those little green buggers. By far the Strike King Rage Tail Shad (see image) is one of the best soft plastic lures out there for bass. You can rig it for topwater or on a jig like shown. If using it on a jig, just cast out and slowly swim it back to you. For rod and reel. Well that depends on what you want to spend and everyone will tell you many, MANY different brands and ones to use. The best way to pick a good one is to go to a store that has a lot to pick from and hold each one in your hand as it's a matter of what feels right to you. then grab a rod and do the same but just make sure that it's balanced. most bass people use a 6'6" to 7' rod in a Med, Med/Heavy or Heavy action with a fast tip. It just depends on how you are going to fish. heavy cover? heavy action rod. drop shot? med. action rod. it just depends. now you know why all the bass folks have so many rod's and reel's... Geoff
  3. check your PM Hooked...
  4. correct Dann, that's why I said cave...

  6. Dana (Dude) then feel free to HEAD SOUTH and PM me or Sinclair and either one of us can and or will take you out. Hell, I'll even throw in a tarp to keep you warm and dry if you don't have anything. That, and I have the rod's, reels, lures and stuff (hutt too) so you just need to show up! (if you can get here) to go fishing. Heck, we may even trick young_one or others to come out fishing too, lol!
  7. cooked seeds with salt Dan and LOOK OUT! *edit* And the folks come a running!!!
  8. Um, Jacques... The team 8 captain is still wondering where his 2 are... They look great and I'm sure there will be many a fish caught on those, cheers!
  9. hey wait, off topic abit here but was I right Spiel about the Mod? If that's wrong then Brian is so he can do what he needs to do for the tourny... do I win a custom fishing rod?!?!?!
  10. ah this is too funny. you know you would have been in for a GREAT night if you did hear one of them say "here, hold my beer and watch this!" *edit to add* then you could have yelled out the window "go for it Darwin!!!"
  11. Mod's can ban (or modq) people, lock, delete and or move a topic to the proper section Paul. Admin's can do all that as well as make new sections and sub forums. Let's not forget about the mod/admin cave they go to when they want to talk about members and the members can't see it... They also wear a cape on friday's!!!
  12. Dana, when I go to my folks place on a lake I bring a fully charged cordless drill with me, a rather large bit and a tape measure. make sure the tape can get in the hole to see how thick it is and just inch out bit by bit. you will almost always hear the lake make sounds that might freak you out but most of the time it's the lake making more ice and air trying to get out.
  13. I would call your closest store and give them the item number to see if any store is going to carry them. not all stores did last year but they were able to tell me what ones were going to carry them. Trust me that the 8" will be fine as you can overlap a hole to make it look line an open 8
  14. If you order from the Cost-co web site the auger is $299.99 plus tax and it includes the shipping. This way if your cost-co is out of stock ir isn't going to carry them you have an option. item # 105279 as I just found my web bill in my desk, lol

"Pro-Tec Powder Paints for Lures or Jigs" works well Bill. BPS has it and I'm sure others do too.
  17. I got an 8" Eskimo from Cost-Co last year for under $300 new (well add taxes to that) shipped at no cost right to my door. It works great and I would buy another if ever needed.
