I have the same Johnson 115 fast strike on a 18.6 Northstar bowrider and I can hit high 50's (MPH) in it. just so you have an idea of how quick it can go. you should be hitting 60MPH in the smaller boat.

I was thinking of going up to my folks place, launch the tinny and hunt down some perch but not anymore... I just hope now to get some rain so I can get to da riva! It was brutal this morning there on the banks where I was...

he's correct, lol. that's all I have ever caught there and and old friends folks live on the lake and have been there for years. there could be more in there but I couldn't tell you; as like I said, all we ever got was bass.

Dave, bring the stuff from the pic in your avatar over to my place and we can tie and test stuff till the cow's come home (and I don't mean the women ). Palomar all the way here for basic braid and "nanofil" for any slicker lines. uni-2-uni to join any braid to mono/floro has yet to fail me. an extra wrap or 2 helps too

so what are you going to use to edit the video footage?

In the few min. I watched it there were a few big ones going by! I need to bookmark it as I check it out every spring it gets posted.
