I just gave up and wouldn't reply from my laptop. so then I would have to get off my lazy and go to my main home pc to read it and reply. hence the lack of replies to PM's...

it only does that to me on my laptop running IE9 and nothing else.

all I can add is USE CAUTION! I was out on the lake yesterday and it's far from good ice where I was with Sinclair. Slick and not thick for the most part (the ice you dirty old minds out there and you know who you are ). I had to keep my spikes on my boots all day so I wouldn't slide away in the wind... *edit* I need a new keyboard, this one is junk

I have the brand new Compre drop shot rod matched up to a new Stradic 2500 FJ and LOVE it! the only day I got to test it (it was a decent lenght of time too), my fishing buddy that day (jigger) thought it was a great combo too when he held it. the rod is far from being broken easy, it's real nice. I tried the Abu too and will not be buying one, free maybe but pay, nope.

daily temps are easy to find. it's folks on the lake (cottage or house) posting ice reports is what you need to look for. even if you take it to PM and don't ask for any spots to try, just a 'hey how's the ice?' might get you some info. a thanks to that person goes a LONG way. there is a guide on OFC that I won't send anyone too cause the fool was never kind enough to thank me for a weekend of business I sent his way... *edit to add* and yes that older guide is well known in the Kawartha's.

we just got put on the "peak time" billing this month and it's already screwed my weekends up. my wife runs a home daycare so we are going to get screwed big time with this. I might have to get an exercise bike and hook it up to the TV if anyone wants to watch TV they have to ride the bike. kind of like Gilligan did for something way back when stuck on an island for 'power'....

where is Henry N. in all this chatter? I thought Legend hull's were made by Smokercraft anyway? I would be looking at a Legend myself for a family fun and fishing boat.
