    G3 boats?

I don't have one but I sure do like the look of them so I too would like to see what people have to say here.
  2. I got the HD hero at Christmas for $189 I think at Future Shop. So far so good but the GoPro CineForm Studio software keeps on crashing on me and have no clue what else to use to edit the videos.
  3. Well, an update for you all... She picked Elmhirst based on the web site and chat she had with someone there. Thanks Justin! And thanks to all that offered ideas too!
  4. May 6 or dang close
  5. Thanks all, going to check into them later with the Mrs to see what she likes. G, been there and we both didn't like it but thanks. Justin, I checked that real quick for 1 thing and 1 thing only, boat rentals... LOL Ok, make it 2, she get's a spa treatment while I get to fish I'll check in later too so if anyone else has more to add, have at'er! Thanks! Geoff
  6. Hey all So the mrs says to me tonight that for our 12 YR we need to do something and if all works out i can get some fishing in. Any idea's close (2 hour drive time) from Whitby? We have been to the Niagara area before and no need to go back so any ideas are welcome, cheers. Geoff
  7. Same here but for the short trips in the tinny or a day out in a boat with a buddy it can come in handy, hence the reason I'm looking. I have over a few dozen of the mid to large plano hard trays I can stuff in a bag but I would rather be light and use less space.
  8. Tks Tks Too bad I didn't think to look for them when I was there last weekend... I know the Storm ones were sold all over the place like Princess Auto for next to nothing $ wise and from what I can tell, not too interested in those ones. Any other ideas/thoughts? I have grubs and others I need a home for that is easy to cart around, cheers. PS, Skip and Paul, I don't do that anymore mid week, well, sort of... I need to be on a train to damn early for that...
  9. Hey all. So I was at BPS to burn off $150 work of G.Cards on the weekend and now i think I need to find me a good worm binder type case for most of my plastics. Any idea what's good out there (last's long) and at a decent price? I just started looking at what I have in my 'stock' and OH MAN, I need something to keep it tidy... Thanks all! Geoff
  10. Hey Chris, just make sure it's the kids rod and not your rod for crappie and perch fishing...
  11. Olny if I can test drive it...
  12. There is a tear in my beer looking at this post...
  13. goatcha! PS, still downtown TO just a lot closer to Union now...
  14. That I know and didn't mean it that way Wayne. I meant for him to contact the local CO (and I have the Minden CO's info if anyone needs it) if he's catching lots of them to have them reported and checked.
  15. not to be rude; but you do know you are to pull ALL pike out of those 3 lakes, right? not a native fish and the MNR has stated to get them out. I think if memory serves, the MNR would be happy with a few of those pike for testing too. I know Canal is real bad and Balsam is heading that way too...
  16. I have a Med action one at 7' and for the price it is GREAT! the tip is so sensitive you can watch it move with the lightest of bites.
  17. LOL, I just sent that to my father-in-law who winters in the area there where that was done...
  18. I would have been casting to the edge of the ice and if the lure landed on the ice, no biggy, just reel it in slow till it dunks in the water. good call on bring the boat!
  19. crank, reel, rip... my point was all one in the same...
  20. Paul, come by for a coffee next time you are close and I'll show you what I have on my wall. 1PC can be great for a drop shot rod while a 2PC can make for a great travel walleye jigging rod. it all depends on what and how you want to fish. I have many of both and I'm very happy with the combo I put together to do so for each outing.
  21. I'm a lefty and I had about 3 or 4 baitcasters that were a right hand crank. the second I tried and left hand crank all those reels went up for sale. just saying... I crank on a spinning with my left, I can play with my kids rods that crank on the right and even though I'm a lefty; casting with my right hand holding the rod feels better and I get the power cranking a fish in the boat with my left (strong hand?) vs. the switch over that I did in the past. *edit to add* being a lefty I grab a fish with my left hand 95% of the time or more so holding the rod in my right and giving my cranking hand free play to grab the fish felt better too.
  22. get a used shimano or the new Caenan If I was you, I would be PM'ing uglyfish!
  23. who knows best?
  24. 2x 100% but we all now some play stupid or ignore the rules...
  25. you are welcome to fish off the dock with us any time buddy! just make sure I'm there too!
